Utopia Support - S39, SZW, Change Tactics

Recommended Posts

Number S39: Utopia One
"3 Level 4 LIGHT Monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Number 39: Utopia" you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.)
You can detach 3 Xyz Material from this card, then pay Life Points so that you only have 10 left; destroy all Special Summoned monsters your opponent controls, and if you do, banish them, then, inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each monster banished by this effect. Your opponent must have 3000 or more Life Points than you to activate and to resolve this effect."

2510 ATK 2000 DEF Warrior LIGHT

I can appreciate that 2510 ATK. That effect is nice if for some reason you actually play C39.

Xyz Change Tactics
Spell Continuous
"When a "Utopia" monster is Xyz Summoned to your side of the field: You can pay 500 Life Points; draw 1 card.
You can only control 1 "Xyz Change Tactics"."

That drawing sounds key to a slower deck like Utopia. I want your opinion, 2 or 3 in the deck?

SZW- Fenrir Sword
Beast LIGHT (sounds cool)  1800 ATK 1100 DEF

"When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 "ZW -" monster you control that is treated as an Equip Card; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position.
You can target 1 "Utopia" monster you control; equip this monster from your hand to that target.
When a monster equipped with this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can target 1 "ZW -" monster in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand."

You can control more than one. Its a LIGHT (valid Xyz that need LIGHT Monsters, IMO), recycles well, can recycle itself, etc. Love dat it gets two different effects. No ATK boost, but it is justified.

I made some nonsense deck today that was all about investing your entire hand onto the board and using xyz change tactics along with c39 and s39 to make advantage. When drawing into rank-ups, it actually worked pretty well lol

I somewhat did the same thing.

Not enough play testing, but it would do good against bad decks.
