Thanks to Lucy it looks like the group would save themselves a lot of the effort of looking for the sh*t chute. Alphonse didn't realize how hard it would have actually been to find it but it would have been and that's all that needs to be said. "Thanks, Lucy." He said that while nodding at her before returning his attention to the schematics. He was soon finished looking them over just as the first shots could be heard. "I take it that that's the signal. Hopefully they're really good otherwise they won't be a very good distraction for us." He opened up the door and prompted the three to flood out before following suit and closing the door behind him.

Al had yet to get the chance to actually make sure all the suits were functioning properly but luckily these ones were at the very least perfectly fine. Now they may have kept them from flying into deep space but the asteroids were another thing. "Hurry up to the cruiser and avoid those meteors at all costs. This ship is made out of much harder stuff than us." As he ran with the others, he pulled out his MOVA once more. His goal was to contact Lindi. "Lindi, I need you to head to the engine room as soon as possible to turn on the dark energy shield. And remind me later to fix our shield. There's no way a good shield would be wiped out by a simple crash like that. Unless those pirates have some exceptionally pointed nose tha-" He cut off himself when a meteor whizzed by his head. "Nevermind, I'll worry about this stuff later. Just get that shield on. It'll be labeled. You can't miss it."

The group got a bit farther but they already had another huge problem. Quite literally. A car-sized asteroid coming right for them. He looked at his MOVA once again and yelled, "Lindi!" Lindi replied this time around and a few seconds later the shield popped up just in time to block the asteroid. Unfortunately this asteroid still shook most of the group right off of the ship. Al, was clearly shocked and struggled to get his mind back together in order to quickly try to think of a solution to this but Leta’s reflexes never seemed to shut off. He was barely a few inches off the ground when Leta had grabbed onto his shoulder.  This, too him, may have put him into a state of shock greater than being nearly knocked off a ship and thrown into deep space. Al’s weird like that. Leta, on the other hand was much better with dealing with stress and very quickly brought the three back onto their feet.

With that situation resolved the group was back to moving towards the cruiser’s bathroom. Leta asked where they were in relative position to the bathroom but he didn’t bother to respond. He didn’t particularly want to but stopping and taking a final glance at his MOVA before pulling out the same device he did earlier seemed like it would be enough of an indication. He pushed a button on the handle of the device and it seemed to extend before finally activating. A stream of pure plasma streamed across from one side of the frame to the next to in order to create a blade of sorts capable of cutting through most material with relative ease.  Four cuts later and a squared section of the hull was blown off with a gust of air escaping from the bathroom. Al had made sure everybody else was away from him when he did this. Plasma and diffusion can be very dangerous after all.

With an entrance secured the group made their way into the shower but Al silently cursed when he noticed it was the more standard of the two types of showers. It was durable enough to not be sucked up along with some other items of little importance but it still had zero vacuum sealing. All bit his lip and exited the shower. If they even bothered to spring for at least the shower then there’d have to be a can of Air Locke somewhere. Now psychology wasn’t really his area of expertise but if it was anywhere he knew where to check. He walked up to the bathroom’s sink and opened up the cabinet underneath. Nothing in immediate sight but he never expected it to be. Various items were frantically tossed out and to the side until the cabinet was nearly empty. It was nearly empty except for a single item in the farthest corner. The label was completely faded but it was really all he had to work with. He pulled out the can and after making sure everybody exited to shower began to spray the all of the leaks in the shower with it. A white foam came out and as soon as it would touch any source of leak the foam would further expand and soon after harden. Al let out a sigh of relief before mumbling, “It's a good thing people are bad with these kinds of things…”

Al pushed a button on the wall that caused bathroom’s door to slide open allowing a gust of air to blow in. The gust knocked Al back a foot but only a foot. Looking back at the shower he realized that the improvised air lock was successful. He looked back at the group and nodded. “Well that settles that. The medical bay will be down the hallway to the left and the engine room to the right. Now let’s hurry up before they notice us.” He then though to himself, "With one going to retrieve supplies this won't be as bad but I still want to get this over with so I can go repair all the damages and not be inflicted upon by social awkwardness."

Riley nodded when Leta agreed that she would split ways once on the other ship to find the Medical Bay. Though, first they would have to get to the pirate's ship. Luckily, Lucy was able to provide Al with the pirate ship's layout, which would come in handy once across. The group began the trek across the Glory's surface. With the magnetized boots they stuck to the ship, but it made for a very difficult walk. Not only that but, they had to deal with meteors pelting the ship and whizzing by all around them, and due to the impact from the ship earlier the Force Field on the Glory wasn't working. They were getting closer towards their destination and Riely thought they would be home free. Unfortunately, the surprises weren't over. A large meteorite came hurtling towards the Glory, and Al quickly contacted Lindi via his MOVA, to get the Energy Field up and running. Lindi managed to get the shield up, and block the metorite just in time. However, the force from the collision moved the Glory a bit and caused everyone but Leta to lose their footing.

Leta's quick thinking saved them, and had them back on the ship. Riley took a deep breath, placing a hand over her heart. She thought for sure she was a goner. "Thanks for pulling me back, Leta." She was amazed by Leta's quick reactions to this type of situation, as she herself was frozen in shock. Upon Leta's question as to where the washrooms were, Al went to work and with use of a MOVA feature, cut an opening through the Pirate ship's hull for them. Once on the ship, and after a few more events, they were going to go their separate ways. Al said the Medical Bay was in the opposite direction of the Engine room. "Got it, I'll be there and back in a jiffy. Leta, I'll contact you once I make it to the medical room. Stay safe guys." Riley took off, taking care to remain out of sight of any pirates. Glancing around another corner she spotted two pirates running in her direction. Though she didn't think they saw her, they would if she didn't move. There was a door to her right. Without much of a choice she took refuge there, sighing in relief that no one was in there. It as a good choice since the footsteps turning the corner onto the hall she was jut on. Once she couldn't hear them anymore, he continued her search for the medical room.

A smile came to her face a few minutes later, once she found herself in front of the door that read 'Medical Bay". She entered the room, and took a quick look around for a bag. On one of the beds held a small duffel bag, which Riley quickly grabbed. Before beginning her plundering, her hit a few buttons on her MOVA. "Leta, it's Riley. Hope I didn't call at a bad time, but I made it to the medical bay." Once Leta replied or not, Riley looked around for what she could take. Upon searching, Riley saw she hit the jackpot. Where ever they were coming from they had just restocked. "It's odd though...I would have expected the doctor to be here. Wonder where they are."

As Moreu and Ash continue their firefight with the relentless pirates, Elric sat resting against the metal strongbox; he was as quiet and motionless as a corpse. Although it was clear that the captain is still very much alive due to the compression and expansion of his chest as he breathes in and out - his breaths were frighteningly weak however. The pulse grenade took more out of him than he'd originally figured. After all, he took the very brunt of the blast while Moreu and Ash stood at a radius distance from the center, allowing for the effects to be more forgiving on their bodies. In any case, as Elric waited for his lungs to recover from the shock - just enough so he could get back into the shootout - he reached into his left pant pocket and pulled something out. Opening his palm, it was revealed to be two revolver magazines - the ones shaped like a revolver's chamber. Elric wanted to make sure he knew exactly how much ammunition he had. Two mags plus the one already attached equated to eighteen rounds in total. It wasn't a lot but it was enough to make do especially since Elric is more than familiar with the concept of sharpshooting.

Elric poked his head out from behind the strongbox only to find a bullet whizzing pass his temple and into the wall behind him. That prompted Elric to quickly retract his head. He then let out a stressful sigh - it was a close call after all. The unlucky pirate that made the attempt on Elric's life just so happened to be standing out in the open which gave Ash the opportunity to stand up from behind his cover and blast him dead before retreating back down. One down and only four more pirates left to go. Seeing the almost entirely solid staircase nearby that would make for a better cover because it was closer to the action, Elric made a run for it. As he dashed out from his cover, at the same time, one of the pirates did something similar. The pirate saw Elric and aimed his pistol, taking a couple shots at the captain that ended up missing him by a small margin. Elric raised his revolver and fired back blind, killing the pirate - some luck, or, maybe it was skill. Elric then descended and slid right behind the staircase as he had hoped to be the result. Three more pirates to go now.

With his shotgun placed on top of the box he used for cover, Ash aimed for one of the pirates and pulled the trigger. Unfortunately, the pirate was about half a second faster than Ash and pulled the trigger on his weapon first. The bullet coming from the pirate's handgun grazed the side of Ash's upper left arm and caused him to miss the pirate with the shotgun. Just then, Elric leaned out from behind the staircase and fired a bullet into the pirate's right kneecap, causing him to drop his handgun out of intense pain. Ash proceeded to take revenge and fired his shotgun once more. This time, the shot hit dead center at the pirate's torso. That puts the amount of dead pirates to three and alive pirates to two.

-Meanwhile-

After losing their footing on the Glory's exterior, Al, Riley, and Lucy began floating away from the ship. Luckily for them, Leta reacted swiftly and wasted no time in pulling each one of them back to the ship before they drifted out of her reach. Elric was smart in putting Leta in charge of their safety. Who knows we could've been the result if someone like Ash had been assigned that role. Not that Ash would've let them float away into deep space or anything, it was just the fact that Leta had more reach than him. And in a spacesuit, she's probably more flexible as well. As Al and Riley regained their composure after that near-deadly experience, Lucy was unusually calm and composed; she simply stood there and waited for the others to move on. "Thank you, Leta. I don't know what we could've done if you weren't here." Lucy expressed her gratitude; again, for someone who could've almost died, she was terrifyingly calm. Then again, Al was more concern about Leta making physical contact with him than the near-death experience as well. In any case, they're all alive now and so it was time to move on.

Leta proceeded to pop a question concerning their position in respect to the bathroom. The only who could effectively answer the question would be Al considering he has looked over the cruiser's schematics and floor plans. Instead of responding, however, he felt it better to act. Al quickly led the group to a spot just above the shower and began work. Using his plasma saw, Al cut a square section into the cruiser's hull that was big enough to allow the four of them to slip in. Inside, Al proceeded to find a canister of Air Locke: a canned substance that will seal the shower and prevent the ship's interior atmosphere to be completely sucked out. Al soon found what he was looking for and took the opportunity to use it once everyone was safely outside the shower. The group then proceeded outside of the bathroom. There, Riley separated from the group in order to get to the medical bay. Prior to this, she assured Leta that she would contact her once she found the medical bay. With that said, Riley left and the remaining three headed towards the opposite direction.

With Al knowing exactly where they should be heading, the three soon arrived at the engine room; they had yet to enter inside. Surprisingly, there were no pirates seen on their way to the engine room. The most likely scenario was probably that they had all invaded the Glory's cargo bay. But then the sound of men talking could be heard from around the corner and further down the hall. As it turns out, three pirates were on patrol to make sure there were no security breaches - too late. They had been patrolling this section of the cruiser for a while and Al, Leta, and Lucy were just lucky enough to have missed them, but now they're back. The three of them won't be able to meet up with Riley nor escape the cruiser until these pirates were dealt with. It looks like Leta will have to take care of their issues. Al and Lucy, however, entered the engine room to take care of the airlock bomb situation. The engine room was dark and so Lucy attempted to use the light switches. The lights did turn on but it was still far too dim. Regardless, Al needed to get to work on the deactivating the bomb as soon as possible.

As Al got to work - whether it be finding a new light source or going straight for the bomb controls - Lucy stood there quietly. Her expertise wouldn't help in this situation; it was all dependent on Al. Suddenly, a metallic clang can be heard from the corner of the room. Turning her head, Lucy saw what made the noise: the mechanic - another pirate. He held in his hand a machete consisting of nanobots from his MOVA. The man looked fierce and ready to kill. "I'm gonna flay you two alive." the mechanic threatened. Meanwhile, Riley had finally arrived at the medical bay after dodging the watchful eyes of two pirates - they were the same ones that had now congregated to Leta's position. Entering inside, she soon found a small duffel bag to use in storing the medical supplies and then proceeded to contact Leta as she promised. After the quick call, Riley began looting the numerous medical supplies. There were a lot too, and all of them were most likely stolen off of other ships. After she had collected a good amount, Riley mused to herself about the doctor of the cruiser. He or she was nowhere to be found which was odd considering in these types of situations, a doctor should be present to quickly attend to the injured.

Despite what Riley thought, the doctor of the cruiser was actually in the medical bay. The doctor had hid himself within a nearby locker used for storing spacesuits; he was carefully watching Riley the entire time. Suddenly, the locker door opened and out came the doctor. He appeared scared and cautious but he doesn't appear to be a threat. "Y-You're not one of them..." he uttered nervously. "N-No, you're not. Please, you gotta get me off this ship. Those pirates kidnapped me and forced me to work as a doctor. I- I just wanna go home." the doctor explained; he was clearly sincere in his words. A moment after Riley's response, a bullet came flying from behind the two of them and hit the fearful doctor's forehead - killing him. Before the bullet had hit the doctor, it was mere inches above Riley's head. A few inches down and Riley would've been a goner.

"Aw, dammit, I missed!" a bald, hulking pirate cursed, indicating that the intended target of that kill shot was actually Riley. When Riley had turned around to face the pirate, he noticed Riley just so happens to be a girl and probably a defenseless one at that. She didn't look battle-suited in any case. That brought a sinister thought to the pirate which made him grin deviously, baring his hideous, yellowed teeth and terrible gums. He apparently has never heard of scurvy or maybe he just doesn't care for Vitamin C. "Say, you ever been raped?" the pirate asked casually as he slowly approaches Riley.

"No problem" Leta replied to Riley and Lucy humbly. "I'm just following Captain's orders, and I'd never let an ally drift off like that." Eventually, moving on, Leta watched as Al answered her question with perfection in whipping out his tool and showing her just what he was made of. With the plasma saw he drew open a square section into the hull of the pirate ship quite violently - the change of air pressure was intense, and if that chunk of the hull had hit anyone with such force even Leta wouldn't be able to reach them in time. With that settled though, the crew had infiltrated their way into the shower. Before they made another move, though, it was for Al to close up the breach and, after browsing through inventory available, he spotted and made use of the foam he had described earlier, which coated over the breach. Notably, the standard of Al's work was quite impressive.

With air flooding back into the room Leta heard Al depict where they'd be placed. Riley immediately took the chance to inform her she'd keep in contact, just like Leta asked. With a sigh of relief Leta nodded softly, before taking the time to notice the liberty of zero gravity she once had was gone again. Rubbing her back a bit as she made her way for the engine room with Al and Lucy. Eventually, though, footsteps could be heard. Leta's head turning almost instinctively towards the sound, she bluntly and quickly stated "In there, now." with haste. Eventually, patiently waiting for her comrades to get into the engine room and stay safe, Leta immediately began to stalk the three pirates left on board.

Strafing behind a corner, she overheard a pirate bellow "The engine room's lights are on..." and make a jogging pace to the room - the instance the unsuspecting crook entered her line of sight Leta drove her fist straight into his kidney. With a profound "Ooof!" the pirate curled over, giving Leta an easy opening to drive a grissly knee square into his nose, leading the pirate to fall onto his back, quiet as a mouse. With this Leta immediately checked if there was a pulse on the individual, and once confirming this, pulled him aside from the view of the majority.

Unfortunately for Leta, in doing so another pirate by pure chance was walking around a corner and caught site of her. Taking a moment to process the sight before him he barked at her "Oi! Fancy a bullet in your head you slu-" but, as any smart person would do, Leta had immediately bolted it. This, needless to say, frustrated the goon into demanding she come back and face him - Leta wasn't dumb - and fell into the spy's web the instant he lost sight of her. It was to no surprise that she easily executed the same tactic to the same pirate prior, since the ship's corners were abrupt, 90° turns.

With this Leta overheard Riley's transmission. "No, no it isn't a bad time." Leta said with a deep breath, looking to the incapacitated pirate at her feet. However hearing Riley's continued speech Leta made haste to find her by retracing her footsteps on the ship - though she didn't need to for long. She lucked herself upon spotting a pirate making his patrol down to the medical ward and, stalking behind him, Leta spotted the room where Riley was transmitting from. Soon, though, Leta heard a gunshot - her eyes widened with concern, though this was dampened when she heard the pirate curse a failure in his accuracy.

Leta couldn't take anymore chances with this delay - she entered the room silently stalking the pirate. Letting the man slowly drop his guard, Leta decided to play dirty. Dropping down to her knees Leta drove a fist into the pirate's privates, knowing that'd be the best way to get the hulk to drop his height a bit. With the man curling over in agony, before dropping to his knees holding his privates, Leta looked over to Riley, asserting her complete dominance over the pirate in taking time for a chat. "Are you okay? I see you found quite the resourceful room - how much can you carry?"

Leta frowned unamused as he felt the pirate's hand grasp her ankle, following by the goon calling her a b*tch. Turning back to the pirate Leta drove an elbow into his back, before exerting pressure onto the traps of the monstrous rapist, sending him to a sleep-like state. With this Leta took the opportunity to contact Al and Lucy, informing the entirety of this infiltration crew that the targets were neutralized. "We're just waiting on you two, now. I don't anticipate these mercenaries being able to wake up for a while." She simply stated, before looking back to Riley.

"So...what can I carry for you?" Leta asked in a chirpy tone, particularly to contrast again, well, the groans of the pirate at Riley's feet.

With the group of three arriving at the engine room it was Leta's turn to leave the group. Riley's departure a minute ago relieved some of Al's social anxiety and he thought Leta leaving would help as well but he realized after a few mere seconds it didn't. It perhaps just made it worse because now he was alone with a girl. He glanced at her for a second only taking note of her surprisingly incredibly calm demeanor and then turning his head back to the door. Al thought to himself, "How does she do it so easily? I know I have my problems but even then we've been working for a few hours and have already been attacked by a bunch of rapists. Not to mention I only have my life to worry about but these...ladies...I'll figure out the proper way to refer to them in a group later...have a lot more to worry about." He let out a quick sigh before opening up the door. "Ugh," he said trying desperately to suck up his anxiety for a second, "...b-be careful. They must have some sort of engineer around here."

The two proceeded to enter with no real problems. Lucy turned on the lights and although the lights were incredibly dim there was no real need to bother fixing them even though Al would obviously love to. He'd have to settle for the lights in the Glory 7. There were bigger fish to fry and just like fish this experience was awful. Either way Al was able to find the bomb controls with relative ease and quickly got to work. He was barely able to get into his groove when he heard a metallic clanging come from the far side of the room.

Al quickly jumped up and around to face the pirate engineer. "So that's where you were hiding..." The pirate had a machete that must have been covered in nanobots to increase its cutting ability. It wasn't obvious but it was just highly likely. By the man's words it was also clear he had the intention of using it. Al had to think quick on his feet and luckily his brain was great for that. He quickly unstrapped his Lunar Multitool and pointed it at the assailant. "If you were smart you'd have made more of an effort to keep quiet. Now here's the thing. Not only am I next to the airlock bomb's controls and could easily blow it up but I have a gun pointed at you as well." It was true that his multitiool looked like a gun even from up close but it was only a gamble as Lunar certainly wasn't an unknown brand name but even that may be covered up a bit by the dim lighting in the room. "With a machete you're not actually going to be able to accomplish much from all the way over there as I'd have shot you twice every quarter of a second for ten seconds after you make your first step. That's 120 rounds unloaded into random points in your body. But here's the thing I'm not much of a murderer." He then nodded towards Lucy but made sure not to take his attention away from the pirate. It was clear to the pirate that when Al looked over at the young female he became very nervous. "Come here, Lucy. While I take care of this bomb you shoot this guy if he makes a move." His full attention was back on the pirate. "Trust me when I say I'm sorry. The only reason they let me have the gun is because of how much more dangerous she is when she gets one." Although he seemed to be trembling it was only because of how close he was to Lucy. To the pirate though this would seem like legitimate fear. Lucy's constantly calm demeanor certainly wouldn't help the pirate here. "Please don't piss her off. If you do...I know a good doctor."

After giving Lucy the Lunar Multitool Al returned to his work on deactivating the bomb. With that show he pulled he felt safe for at least a little bit longer. It was then that he got a call from Leta which caused Al to sweat nervously a bit. "Y-yeah, I'm almost done. I'm trying to hurry up quick so Lucy doesn't kill this guy. You know how she can be. I'd recommend not taking too long over there though. It's only a matter of time until more people figure out what's going on and Lucy panics and leaves a bunch ." He really couldn't stop bullsh*tting for as long as that other mechanic was still around. He could only hope that they got the faintest hint of what was going on and hurried things up a bit more.

Moreu's abilites with the shotgun she was using weren't exactly admirable, so what she was doing could
be called more 'cover fire' than anything else, because she wasn't hitting anything head-on, just close
enough to scare 'em into staying down until somebody else got a good shot in. Not after long, the pirates
numbers were thinned and thinned down until there was only two left. Looking over to her two allies, she
noticed that neither of them were in the greatest of shape. Dropping the shotgun, she quickly pulled out
her two signature pistols and took a deep breath.

She stuck her head out from behind the moving tool she was behind two see that the only two remaining
pirates were focused more or less away from her at that moment. She quickly grabbed the shotgun and
leaned over into the cab and started the moving vehicle up. This grabbed the pirates attention as the
began to unload on the vehicle, but were unable to hit Moreu before shewas able to jam the shotgun
onto the gas pedal causing the vehicle to speed towards the pirates, but with Moreu still in it. They
fired of several shots into the vehicle before one jumped out of the way and the other was slammed into
the wall behind him, knocking him unconcious, possibly worse. Moreu was in a bit of a daze, but just
noticed the other pirate quickly enough.

"You son of a--!" the pirate yelled right before Moreu swiftly brought up her own weapon to take the
first shot, dead-on. With a brief grunt, moreu lifted herself out of the cab and made her way back to
new cover in a sort of fast-walk pase. She knew she was rather dazed, but didn't know yet that she had
slammed her head in the cab of the vehicle when it crashed, causing a cut that was bleeding fairly badly
at the top of her forehead.

Almost as if on cue, the doctor of the pirate ship emerged from one of the locker, shocking Riley into a short shriek and forcing her onto her guard. Though as quickly as she was alarmed, she calmed back down upon seeing that the doctor didn't look to be a threat. If anything he looked scared. He was shaking, and his skin was glistening from perspiration. His breathing was audible, and though she couldn't exactly tell with her mask still on she would assume his eyes would be dilated. This man was defiantly not a threat to her. He was panicky, and spoke quickly wondering if she was one of them - she assumed a pirate - and seemed relieved when he saw she wasn't. "Sir, calm down." For Riley, whether this man happened to be one of the pirates, or not - which it seemed clear he wasn't, probably forced - she couldn't leave someone of his condition behind. Not in good conscious at least. "Sir, just breath, and tell me what's wrong." Riley held out her hands to show she was less than a threat than she already was, and took slow steps towards the man. Just as she thought, he was forced to help the pirates, and asked for her help. Riley nodded, smiling calmly towards him, hoping that he was calm down. "I understand. I came here with others. We can help you. I'll take you back to our ship and you won't have to worry." As soon as she finished speaking a bullet whizzed through the air, inches above her own, and into the doctor's forehead. Her eyes widened, and she reached out to catch the fallen doctor, slowing his crash to the ground. "No! Doctor!" Riley knew it was hopeless. He was dead on impact.

Behind her she heard the shooter complain that he missed. Then that bullet was meant for her, and not the other doctor. She stood up, glaring angrily at the large brutish pirate. It didn't last long. She noticed the way his eyes scanned her over, taking notes, before a sickened grin cracked his face. One that Riley quickly decided she didn't like.

"Say, you ever been raped?"

It's not often Riley get's scared of people. She's had to deal with some of the worst type of people, when all she wanted to do was help them. But, the moment those word's left his lips a chill shot down her spine, as if someone doused her with ice water. For every step the pirate took towards her she took one back, knowing that she would hit a wall soon. Riley tried to think of a way out. She knew Taekwondo, but would that even work? She had no experience using it outside of simple training. Her body wasn't hardened enough to withstand the sting of making contact with another body. Not only that but he was easily twice her size. She could try subduing him with Hapkido, but in the end his overwhelming strength - that easily surpass her own - would overpower her.

"We're just waiting on you two, now. I don't anticipate these mercenaries being able to wake up for a while."

This is the next thing Riley heard, and her eyes came into focus. Leta was standing there, over the unconscious body of her attempted rapist. While in her thoughts Leta must have came and rescued her. Riley must applaud her, as the distance she must have had traveled was quite a bit, and to do so in so short a time was impressive. Riley leaned against the wall she was backed into, and took some deep breathes trying to calm down and stop her legs from shaking.

"So...what can I carry for you?"

"U-um...I-I guess that duffle bag." Riley pointed at the bag beside the dead doctor. "I-i got all I needed from here." Riley could hardly concentrate. All she could think about was how dirty she felt. The way that man looked at her, and just imagining the things he probably would have succeeded in doing hadn't it been for Leta, made her feel all the more dirtier. So much dirt...It was dirty. Disgusting. She couldn't even stand to be in the skin she wore. "....So dirty..." She mumbled. No! She needed to focus! Focus! Get out of here first! She looked at her hands and a wave of nausea washed over her, but she forced herself to stand up straight and move towards Leta. Though there was a noticeable distance as if she didn't want to be touched. "Sorry, I was just a bit shaken by what happened.

'It's so dirty....Dirty...'

There were only two pirates left standing but they were tenacious - showing absolutely no intention of surrendering. They have reasonable motives for their tenacity after all: vengeance for their dead brethren and, even more motivating, survival; it's either them or the three crew members of the Glory. What had initially started out as a seemingly run-of-the-mill raid for the pirates went almost immediately south. Sure, they expected mercenaries on board a transport ship but nothing of this caliber. Elric, Moreu, and Ash aren't your typical fighters. No, they had proper training and they are clearly the more seasoned party. And this is before factoring in Leta as well who proved to be more than a match for the pirates over in the cruiser. The firefight now neared its end. Moreu's ingenuity finally brought the firefight to a close when she utilized a nearby unloading vehicle to ram the remaining pirates. Although only one was successfully taken down, Moreu made quick work of the other with a quick shot - dead on too. Still in a bit of a daze and with her forehead bleeding, Moreu stumbled back behind a cover.

Fortunately, the battle was over. Elric and Ash exited their covers and headed over to Moreu who was propped up against her cover. "You're bleedin' pretty bad. You're gonna need a couple of stitches when Riley gets back. Just stay here for now." Elric ordered before he made his way over to the unconscious pirate pinned against the wall by the unloading vehicle. "Son of a b*tch probably has a cracked pelvis." Elric mused before turning his head around to Ash. Without speaking, Elric simply motioned a command to Ash to drive the unloading vehicle back to its spot. The visual cue was simple enough for Ash to read. Reaching the vehicle, Ash picked up his shotgun and secured it to his back before making his way into the vehicle. With the vehicle backed up, the unconscious pirate dropped to the floor. Elric slowly paced the cargo bay, making sure that every pirate was either dead or unconscious. Once that was finished, he stopped in front of the airlock with his body facing the opposite direction. "Time to tidy up." Elric told Ash; he meant that they needed to carry the bodies back over to the cruiser.

Ash climbed out of the unloading vehicle right as Elric finished his sentence. Looking up at the captain, Ash's eyes suddenly widened. Elric's eyes narrowed with suspicion after seeing Ash's expression. "What is it?" Elric asked. Almost immediately after, Elric could hear a low grunt coming from behind him, prompting raised brows and wide eyes from the unsuspecting captain. Turning around hastily, Elric was met with a behemoth of a man: a brute standing at nearly seven feet with a ridiculous physique; he was also wearing armor from head to toe. It's nothing short of a natural wonder that this Goliath succeeded in sneaking up behind Elric. Exhaling through his nostrils, the transparent panel in front of his face - belonging to the armored helmet he was wearing - fogged up with hot air. Elric blinked and gulped at almost the same time. "Mother...?" the captain nervously joked. Not long after, Elric throw a lightning-quick right hook at the giant's temple, causing his head to rotate a nearly ninety degrees. Unfazed, the giant turned his head back and cracked his neck. "I don't s'pose you wanna call it truce?" Elric asked.

The giant proceeded to wrap one of his massive hands around Elric's neck - applying a bit of pressure - and the other against Elric's torso and lifted the captain off of the ground, tossing the captain a back a fair distance. When his spine made impact with the hard surface of the metal floor, Elric immediately curved his back out of sheer pain. Taking a single step towards Elric, the giant was swiftly stopped by a shotgun blast to his torso. However, due to his heavy armor, the blast resulted in the giant pirate taking a few steps back. "You're shittin' me." Ash said; he was referring to the lackluster result of the shotgun blast. The giant pirate responded quickly, drawing a huge revolver with a serrated blade underneath its barrel and firing a shot at Ash. It knocked the shotgun out of Ash's hands; it seems this pirate is also quite skilled with a gun. The giant followed up with another shot; this time, the bullet lodged itself into Ash's left shoulder, knocking him onto the floor as well. He then turned his attention over to Elric who, at the moment, struggled to aim his gun at the pirate. Seeing this, the pirate shot at Elric's gun and successfully knocked it out of his hand.

Instead of shooting Elric, the pirate proceeded gradually towards the downed captain with the intent of gutting him alive. Ignoring his injury, Ash leaned his body against the unloading vehicle where he suddenly thought of a plan. Ash took a cue from Moreu and attempted to use the vehicle to ram the giant pirate. Unfortunately, when the vehicle slammed into the wall the first time around, something in engine must've been damaged or, at least, knocked out of place because the vehicle was not functioning now. "Dammit!" Ash frustratingly cursed as he slammed the bottom of his fist against the vehicle. He then made a mad dash towards the pirate and grappled onto his body in order to hold him back from reaching Elric. Although he was clearly struggling hard against the giant, Ash was somehow successful in holding him back. Seizing the opportunity, Elric attempted to reach his gun but he soon found the previous effects of the pulse grenade acting up once more, immobilizing him. It's up to Moreu once more. "Moreu, shoot this rotten sumb*tch, would ya!?" Ash yelled out. The only real weak spot on the pirate is the transparent panel in front of his face.

-Meanwhile-

Back in the cruiser's engine room, Al and Lucy had an unfortunate run in with the mechanic of the cruiser who, keep in mind, is also a pirate unlike the less threatening encounter that Riley had with the cruiser's doctor. Although, she did have an even worse encounter when she was almost defiled by a hulking, bald pirate with a terrible case of scurvy. Thankfully and just in the nick of time as well, Leta arrived and incapacitate the pirated; Riley will most likely still have some nightmares of her close encounter, however. In any case, while Riley and Leta deal with the medical supplies, Al and Lucy were now holed up in the engine room with a slightly psychotic mechanic that, preferably, wants to flay the two of them alive. But the quick-thinking Al wouldn't let the dirty cruiser mechanic have his way. No, Al planned to bluff his way out of this situation. Using the poorly-lit room to his advantage, Al attempted to convince the mechanic that what he was holding in his hand was a firearm when it was, in actually, the Lunar Multi Tool System and, furthermore, the supposed firearm could unload an impressive 120 rounds into the mechanic before he could make a move.

But that was barely the tip of the iceberg. Al then gave the multi-tool to Lucy and tried to convince the mechanic that she was an incredibly dangerous individual - possibly crazed with bloodlust even. Lucy's disturbingly calm demeanor alongside with Al's nervous shaking - due to the fact that he had stood extremely close to Lucy for a brief moment - supported Al's bluff thoroughly. Al gave Lucy the order to shoot the mechanic if he attempted anything unfavorable while Al, himself, took care of the bomb situation. Lucy didn't respond and simply fixed a stare onto the mechanic, unnerving him greatly - she seems like the real deal. "You may have won now but I promise the two of you this: we will hunt you down and kill you. No matter where you go in the 'Verse. And I will personally deal with the two of you myself." the mechanic threatened in an attempt to keep face. Even with such confident words, both Al and Lucy could tell the pirate was scared out of his mind - he's probably just moments away from pissing himself. Fortunately, this bluff worked out because the mechanic couldn't tell a Lunar Multi Tool System from a firearm; perhaps he never worked with such a tool.

"You won't." Lucy responded to the mechanic's threats. "More accurately, you can't. I imagined the other members of my crew have already taken care of the rest of your crew by now. In simpler terms: your entire crew is most likely dead - every single one of them." Lucy explained with her frightening calm. A cold drop of nervous sweat could be seen traveling down the side of the mechanic's face. "As for you: as much as I would revel in killing you where you stand, I've been restricted from doing such a deed and, instead, will leave you on this cruiser, stranded, until the proper authorities arrive to take you to a penitentiary where you will rot. Of course, if you give me a reason to shoot you, that would be more favorable." Lucy threatened - she really knew how to play the part that's for sure. After some time, Al finally managed to disable the bomb which would now allow Lindi to retract the airlock and for the Glory to fly to a safer zone of space. Al prompted Lucy of his success to which she took her eyes off of the mechanic and nodded towards Al. "Good work." Lucy praised the genius mechanic.

Seeing an opening, the mechanic charged towards Al and Lucy with the obvious intent to kill. Of course, since what Lucy was holding isn't an actual firearm, she was powerless to stop the mechanic. Reaching her, the mechanic pushed Lucy aside, slamming her into the engine. He wanted to kill Al first so he could them take his sweet time torturing and, most likely, raping Lucy. The mechanic raised his machete high up into the air as he stopped in front of Al. He let out a sort of battle cry to signal that he was about to bring down his weapon that could easily slice the boy genius in two. Unfortunately for the mechanic, before he could take a swing at Al, Lucy came up from behind him and took a hold of his chin and the back of his head. Then, CRACK! The mechanic lay dead with a broken neck on the cold, metal floor while Lucy stood over him watching to confirm that he was, indeed, dead. Bringing her gaze up, she looked at Al with unflinching eyes and the same disturbingly calm demeanor. "Don't tell the others." Lucy pleaded in an impassive voice. Although, strangely enough, her words sounded sincere. She was really pleading with Al not to tell anyone else.

After the events in the engine room, Al and Lucy met up with Riley and Leta while still in the cruiser. Lucy showed no signs of shifting emotions; she stayed completely calm as usual - as if what had happened in the engine room between her and the mechanic never occurred at all. After Al confirmed that their mission on the cruiser was complete, they four of them headed for the joint airlocks to get back onto the Glory. Meanwhile, back on the Glory, Ash was still doing his best to keep the gigantic pirate at bay while Moreu worked up the strength to fire her weapon. While this panned out, Elric slowly made his way towards his revolver that had been knocked quite a few feet away from him. "I can't hold this guy much longer!" Ash shouted to Moreu. Once Moreu did what she needed to do, the giant still wasn't brought down. In an impressive display of strength, the giant lifted Ash off his feet and threw him across the cargo bay and into a pile of crates. With his helmet damaged, the giant removed it from his head and tossed to the side. Then, showing his sharpshooting skills once more, the giant shot Moreu's weapon from out of her hand.

He proceeded towards Elric now, walking with a bit more haste. Elric was lying on his stomach away from the giant pirate but he then suddenly flipped his body around and revealed his revolver gripped in his right hand. Elric aimed at the giant's head and fired. The giant fell over, dead, with a nasty, bloody hole on his forehead. As Elric breathed a sigh of relief, Al, Riley, Leta, and Lucy finally arrived at the Glory's cargo bay where they could see the results of the firefight. "We good?" an out of breath Elric asked about the bomb situation. Sometime later, Elric, Moreu, and Ash managed to get back onto their feet so the captain could now sort things out. "Unfortunately, we've lost a pretty good amount of supplies during this whole mess, but, we're alive and I say that's worth a hell of a lot more." Elric stated. "Anyways, Riley, go get these two stitched up." he ordered, referring to Moreu and Ash. As the three of them head off towards the medical bay, Elric turned to Moreu. "Hey, I'm promotin' you to my Second-in-Command." he said almost casually before giving a single nod of recognition. "The rest of you are gonna help me move these bodies over to the cruiser. That is unless you have a problem with handling bodies." Elric said.

Lindi then arrived on the scene and was taken back by all the bodies and destruction. "Whoa, if I didn't know any better, I'd say there was a shootout in here." he joked.

"Yeah, well, it weren't a tea party, I'll tell ya that much." Elric replied.

"Good job, team. I, uhh, I'll go keep the engine running." Lindi said before walking back the way he came from.

Lucy's act actually somewhat scared Al and he knew it was a load of bull. She had only needed to keep her calm demeanor and look at the guy but her acting was really quite amazing. The two really should start to put acting onto their resumes. He didn't really pay much attention though as he was invested into his work. Al It really needed no mention by now that Al was indeed a genius. Or maybe the pirate mechanic was just sorta dim. Most likely both. "Hey, Lucy, I'm finished up here. Let's get going so I can fix up the ship already." Al made quick work of deactivating the bomb and with the pirate mechanic nearly pissing his pants things seemed to be going smoothly. Hell, things were just about finished up in the engine room and they could probably just walk out now. Unfortunately, Lucy seemed to agree.

The pirate recognized that with Lucy's attention turned to Al for even the second it was his chance to turn the tables and that would prove to be incredibly easy what with the tables being made out of plywood and not the dense oak that they stated it was made out of. Lucy was easily pushed away and now the pirate had the machete over his head and about to bring it down on Alphonse. He was shaking. Al was shaking. He couldn't do anything. He had no grasp of himself. He was shaking and only shaking. Not even thinking. He couldn't. He couldn't even try to focus again. Then...there was a crack and Al's senses were back. A nanobot covered machete blade isn't going to make a cracking sound when coming down on a human body with such an assumed forced. It'd be a fairly clean cut. Not to mention, there was no pain. No death. Not any he felt anyway. He finally noticed his eyes were blurry. He had actually teared up quite a bit. At least Al's pants felt fine but that should hardly be his biggest worry right now.

Alphonse shook his head a bit and wiped his eyes before looking at the sight before him. The pirate was falling to the ground right in front of him with a clearly twisted neck. Al jumped back and propped himself up against the nearby engine. He needed to in order to stay up but his legs had given way anyway and he fell back to the ground. Then there was her. Lucy stood over the body and looking right at him. Her facial expression still unchanging. It was disturbing. He was holding down vomit at the sight of a dead body and there she was. She had just killed a man but nothing about her wavered. Her voice though was different. Even Al could tell. With such a normally static voice it'd be impossible for even Al not to notice. She pleaded for him not to tell anyone. Al didn't really understand but he nodded anyway.

Al eventually propped himself back up onto his feet and began to stumble his way out of the engine room. The job was done and he needed to calm down. He felt it was odd that this was his second near death experience but this one was making an impact. He evidently summed it up to it being an active attempt at another human being to take his life, how inevitable it had felt, and then the dead body. His earlier act wasn't a complete lie. He couldn't handle himself very well among the dead. He had even less experience with them than women and that's saying a lot. He stopped at the door and looked back at Lucy. "I'm not sure why you want to keep it a secret but if we're keeping secrets then don't tell anybody I cried like a Kyrosian middle aged man. But really.." He began to walk through the days but not before saying one more thing. "Thank you."

The two eventually met back up with Leta and Riley but Alphonse wasn't really in much of a talking mood. Though with the three girls he was already sort of like that. The mood altogether felt heavy among the group but Al only really had a slight feeling of that. His social stats when around girls is certainly low so he his empathy ability is quite weak. Regardless of the mood, the group made it through the air lock and back into the air lock. The stench hadn't spread much yet but the sights were making Alphonse sick again. When Elric had mentioned that they'd need to drag the bodies out and back into the cruiser ship Alphonse made no hesitation to hurry and run out of the room. His destination would of course be the bathroom so he could stop forcefully holding the somehow vile potatoes in. Seriously, how do you f*ck up potatoes?

Leta nodded with a smile as she picked up the bag from the doctor, quite unphased by the fact he was dead but this was given what with her experience and what her job entailed. She didn't know, nor was particularly interested in the fate of the doctor either - she'd never realize that the man was just a captive and wanted to go home. She couldn't show any sympathy for the sorry man as she threw the bag over her shoulder, looking back to Riley with a smile. "You've gotten this quite packed, I imagine you've gotten everything we need then." With that she gave an abrupt chuckle. "They won't be needing it, that is for certain."

In waiting for her response Leta looked over Riley who mumbled something. 'Dirty...?' Leta thought with a frown before noting Riley coming back to her senses and apologize, albeit at a distance from her. Smiling softly Leta nodded to her. "I see. It isn't a very nice feeling, for someone to try and take advantage of you." With that Leta retracted her helmet's visor to make eye-contact with Riley, hoping to ease her worries a little more. While she didn't understand, or even know of what Riley was going through Leta was certain that she could state the following with guarantee: "As long as I'm able, I will not let anyone hurt you, Your safety is my priority, just as the crew health and well-being is your's."

Replacing her helmet's visor again she opened the door before telling RiIey they needed to meet up once again with the rest. In doing so the two would eventually recon with Lucy and Alphonse. The fact that they met again implied they had dealt with the armed airlocks, which the four would eventually use to meet back with Monreu, Ash, and Captain Elric Malcolm who let quite a mess before them. It seemed that they were on corpse duty. Of course Leta had no predispositions regarding handling the dead, meaning she put herself right to work at a steadfast pace, eager to get the task over and done with as soon as possible so they didn't need to deal with anymore of those damn pirates.

When the crew had finished dealing with the pirates and presumably letting their ship be sent off into the abyss of the dark zone, Leta tasked upon herself to check in on Riley if she could find her. After having told Elric her perspective and letting the Captain know, Leta knew Riley would need some comforting. The threat of rape was grave and Leta could tell it shook Riley hard.

Reassured, though not by much to make a difference, by Leta's words she followed behind her. Meeting back up with Al and Lucy, before trekking it back over to their own ship. Once there Captain Eric, expressed his concerns about having wasted a lot of their resources, but was more relieved that they had all made it back alive. Which, to him, was more important. After he instructed Moreu and Ash to get medical attention. Hearing that, Riley scolded herself for not noticing that two of her teammates were injured and she had only just noticed. Before they left, Eric promoted Moreu to the second-in-command. During the fight, she must had shown exemplary skills for such a thing to happen. Riley led the two to the Medical bay, and instructed them to sit on a bed, as well as for Ash to remove his suit so she could easily get to the wound. Riley put the duffle bag she took from Leta before she left, on the table. Fishing through the cabinet she grabbed two rags and handed them one each. "Press this on the wound, especially you Moreu." I just want this to hurry up. It's so disgusting. This body...

"I'll be right back." Riley needed to get her suit off. It had the other doctor's blood on it from when she caught him. She didn't want to pass it to the others. So she stripped from her suit, but seeing as Moreu shouldn't be kept waiting for much longer, she quickly washed her hands and returned to Moreu wearing skin tight black pants and a black tanktop. Though she did grab her doctor coat. " Ash, I'll take a look at you next. Alright let me take a look." It's dirty...Vile...

"It's not as bad as it looks. Head injuries tend to do that." Moreu still looked a little unfocused. "Can you understand me?" She took a Q-tip and dipped it in a bottle of alcohol, befreo setting the bottle onto the bedside desk. With the Q-tip she dabbed around the cut, cleaning it more. "It'll just need a few stitches, nothing major." Reaching in her cot pocket she grabbed a flashlight. "Look this way please." She flashed a light in both eyes. They dilated correctly, though a few seconds slow. Riley then asked her to remember three words, before holding up some fingers and instructing Moreu to tell her what she saw. Afterwards, Riley asked for the three words she asked her to remember earlier. Whether Moreu answered correctly, Riley said, "You don't seem to have a concussion, and you're coherent. But I want you to be careful for the rest of the day. Within the next for hours if you start feel drowsy, have trouble with short term memory or anything let me know. I'm gonna grab the stitches."

Riley walked back over to the cabinet, and did so also grabbing a cotton pad, which she handed to Ash. Along with a bottle of alcohol. "Clean around that wound for me if you can. Moreu, do you want painkillers before I start?" Though she assumed she knew the answer, she always asked. If she wanted painkillers, Riley accommodated her. If not, she got started stitching the wound. "Ash, if you haven't done so already, stretch out your fingers, and move your arm. See how much movement your rotary cuff is allowed." A few minutes, and 5 stitches later Riley finished. "Let me check one last thing and you should be good to go." Using her MOVA she scanned Moreu, checking her for any other bodily injuries. "Did you take a hard blow to the back? Maybe knocked against a wall? There seems to be some bruising. I though you seemed a bit stiff, but otherwise you seem fine. But if not, you know where to find me. Take these painkillers just in case." Just one more, then I can wash. I won't be dirty any more.

Riley wanted nothing more than to scrub her body for hours. If it hadn't been for Moreu and Ash needing attention Riley would already be in a shower. She hadn't had an episode this bad in a while, and she hoped she didn't appear to tense or detached as she sounded. Again she washed her hands with rubbing alcohol, being sure to remove all of Moreu's blood. Before moving to Ash she retrieved a Kidney pan, surgical tweezers, forceps, Betadine, and a scalpel. "How was the arm?" After he told her she nodded, checking to make sure there wasn't an exit wound. Since his breathing seemed fine, and the blood stopped she skipped some basic procedures. She used her MOVA to do another full body scan on Ash, making sure there wasn't anything else wrong but also to see how deep the bullet was lodged in. Not that deep but she wound need a larger opening. "Painkillers?" After his answer she went to work, spreading some Betadine on a cotton swab and dabbing it around the wound. With the scalpel she cut 4 centimeter long incision at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock in relation to the wound. She dabbed at the wound with some cotton, before grabbing the tweezers. She pulled up the hologram of Ash's wound with her MOVA using that to monitor her progress towards the bullet. It didn't take long before she excavated the bullet and dropped it on the Kidney pan.

After she wrapped the wound, checked his range of motion once more, and also handed him some pain killers just in case, before telling him he was free to go. When he left, Riley quickly cleaned up and scrubbed down her arms again with rubbing alcohol. "...Shit...It's not clean yet." She continued washing her hands, rubbing harder and using hot water. This isn't good. I need to stop...But I can't...It's dirty...No, calm down Riley." It's dirty." Come on girl, calm down. "...Vile..." It's fine. "Dirty." You're fine. "Disgusting." Just stop!

After 10 mintues of washing her hands she finally turned of the faucet. Her hands were red, raw and bleeding in some places. Noticing how deep she went into her OCD she cursed. How long had it been since this happened? And it hasn't even been a week. Not only that, but she didn't even feel clean yet. She needed a shower. She needed to go back to her room. Before she was going to leave the room, she used her purple rag in her left coat pocket to open the cabinet and found some white gloves to put on and hide her hands in case of running into anyone. She frowned noticing red spots popping up from how hard she was scrubbing. Riley shoved them into her pockets, feeling s though all of the progress she had made in her years had been flushed down the drain. That only made her feel worse.

However, when she opened the door to leave she was surprised to see Leta just about to enter. "O-oh, uh...Leta. Um.." She tried a short laugh, "You startled me. Did you uh, need any treatment?"

Moreu was pretty relieved to believe that the fight was over when Ash and Elric approached her. She simply
sat there against the crate she was behind and let out a sigh as she listened to Elric and Ash moving
around. Before long, she heard a bit of a silence before another comotion started up. She slowly lifted
herself over the crate to see the giant of a man mopping the floor with her crew-mates. Her vision was
a bit blurred but she could still mostly see what was happening as she lifted herself from the ground.

"Moreu, shoot this rotten sumb*tch, would ya!?" Ash yelled.

She held herself up on the crate, holding up her pistol to try and get a few shots in on the man, but her
vision was too blurred and her hands were too unfocused.

"I can't hold this guy much longer!" Ash shouted to Moreu.

Moreu focused as best she could, firing off three shotts, the first two of which laded a direct hit on
the center of the pirate's face plate, essentially blinding him. Moreu was exerting much of her strength
to hold her her weapon before the giant pirate shot her weapon out of her hand, causing her to lose a bit
of balance and lean back over onto the crate and simply watched at her best as the giant was finally
brought down by Elric's swift and accurate shot. Not long afterwards, Let, Al, and Lucy arrived on the
scene. Elric commented on wasted recources and had Lucy lead Ash and Moreu to get medical service aswell
as casually promoting Moreu to second-in-command.

"Yeah, thanks." Moreu said with a smirk, slightly raising her fist as to signal a short, "Yaaay'"

Not long after, the three arrived at the medical bay where Lucy did her thing as a doctor. Moreu intently
listened to Lucy and answered each of her questions to the best of her abilities, not seeming to have any
very serious injuries, though she did need stitches, as everyone already knew. Accepting the painkillers
and patiently waiting and following orders as she waited, there still didn;t seem to be anything big
wrong and Moreu was soon sent on her way with painkillers in hand as she walked out of the medical bay
on her way to her quarters to rest.

Smiling weakly as she glanced to Riley, Leta immediately noticed her hands in her pockets. Riley never seemed to take such a stance, from Leta's experience as of yet. It did look a little alien on her, but she let it slide for the time being. With a subtle shake of her head Leta smiled softly. "Apologies, I didn't mean to startle you - and, if my...work, back in there upset you too, I apologize again. It isn't really something pleasant to be a witness of." With this Leta casually strode into the medical bay, setting her fur coat aside before sitting down, glancing back over to Riley.

"I didn't come here for treatment, but thanks for asking." Leta started. "The irony is that I've came here to see if you were alright yourself, Riley." Looking to her, Leta's smile dropping though a sense of compassion present nonetheless, she watched Riley - giving Riley a cue to leave if she wanted, but also inviting her to stay, and listen to what she had to say. Leta was certainly worried about her, and she hoped that concern would be enough to be able to talk to Riley about what she experienced.

"Back there, in the ship..." Leta softly spoke, should Riley remain present to hear it. "...that pirate, he upset you, didn't he?" She figured it would be better not to blatantly call out what happened to Riley, it would not be something she'd want to hear so suddenly. Leta simply would gently work around to it. "I noticed, you were pretty shook up about it..." Leta quickly smiled. "That's completely understandable! Trust me, it isn't something nice to hear, I know...I don't want you to think what you're feeling right now is wrong in any shape or form."

Leta moved slightly closer to Riley, not wanting to upset her. She'd also attempt to establish some physical contact with the ship's doctor. Leta held her hand above Riley's shoulder, giving her an unspoken question, asking if she was alright with her holding her hand. While she could operate without it, a deeper, mutual bond would form if she could have Riley's trust, even if something as simple as holding her hand. It'd also likely help sink Leta's message into Riley's thoughts. However, Riley's condition might make this attempt feeble - understandably so.

Whether or not Leta was holding Riley's hand, she smiled. "Hey, Riley? Look at me for a second." Giving her a tender smile she nodded to her. "He didn't touch you, nor would he ever touch you. I'm never going to let any person lay a finger on you if I can help it, okay?" Leta looked to the door briefly before taking a deep breath. "In my line of work, that kind of thing isn't uncommon...I know what you're going through, believe me when I say this." Looking to her Leta smiled weakly. "Unfortunately my employers told me to get over myself, and do my job...not the best moral support..." With a weak chuckle Leta continued to try and empathize with her. "I digress...Riley, I'll help you through this if you need me, okay?"

With that Leta looked over her MOVA, before bringing up her contact details, presenting them to the doctor. "Here - that is my personal line. Add it to your MOVA, so you can talk to me if you ever need to, alright?"

It wasn't in Alphonse's upbringing that he was taught about machismo and in fact in this upbringing he was warned of its dangers as a harbinger of pride and in turn self destruction. Yet here he was, hunched over a toilet, taking the advice of mass media and telling himself to be a man. Really, everything had already been rationalized. As soon as he saw the pirate vessel it had been thought out that death was something he'd very likely see and as long as it wasn't him then that's still just great. It doesn't make it easy to take the first time around though. You know, dead people. People who's very life instantly just vanished. In this case, he'd have to be a man. He had work to do. Work he wanted to do. Work that would take his mind off of things.

Alphonse knew how to begin his work at repairing any damage to the ship and for this he ended up back in the ship's engine room eyeing the control panel for the shield held within. "I could have sworn this shield model had more impact resistance than that...the pirate ship's impact makes sense since it's nose has been clearly customized to have a piercing design but a meteor? No way." He rattled his brain around it for a bit until finally reaching a conclusion. "Of course, the ship must have busted one of the ship's shield projectors when it crashed into us. With even one projector smashed the whole system suffers. The programming has to work around the connections. I'm sure Lucy hasn't pointed it out to me yet just because she's focused on checking life support systems at the moment." He walked to his nearby space suit which he proceeded to glance over in order to make sure it was in working order. "Space suit check. Now all that's left is finding somebody to go out with. I'm not foolish enough to go out on my own. Especially not after last time.

"Apologies, I didn't mean to startle you - and, if my...work, back in there upset you too, I apologize again. It isn't really something pleasant to be a witness of." Leta walked into the room, and Riley watched as she removed her coat and sat down before casting a glance back her way."I didn't come here for treatment, but thanks for asking." Leta started. "The irony is that I've came here to see if you were alright yourself, Riley."

"No...It was fine." Riley began, answering Leta's earlier question. "Though my business is to save lives, I am no stranger to death or wars. I know that killing is sometimes unavoidable. It's just been a while for me, being so up close like this that I forgot myself." Thinking back it hadn't even crossed her mind to use her MOVA. Her Nano-Drugs would have came in handy if she hadn't freaked out. She looked back at Leta, and knew that whatever it was that the woman wanted to say hadn't been completely conveyed as she had more to add. Riley was actually surprised to see that Leta was worried for her mind set. To be honest, at the moment Riley was feeling a bit better the more she was able to cal down. Though, getting out the panic attack from earlier helped, and she would still rather leave and take a shower. As well as, tend to her hands without the risk of someone walking in on her. Even so, she stayed where she stood waiting for Leta to continue.

"Back there, in the ship...that pirate, he upset you, didn't he?" Riley knew she was trying to be tactful about how she brought it up. Her for was soft, trying not to spook Riley, something she often did to rattled patients. Again that surprised Riley, as she did not expect such a soft side to the assassin. "I noticed, you were pretty shook up about it..." Leta quickly smiled. "That's completely understandable! Trust me, it isn't something nice to hear, I know...I don't want you to think what you're feeling right now is wrong in any shape or form." It was then Leta moved towards her in an attempt to establish physical contact. Leta placed a hand above Riley's shoulder but didn't lay it there. It was simply hovering. Calmed, but still uncomfortable with contact Riley instantly took a step back. "Sorry....But I'd rather not." That didn't seem to upset Leta. Instead she proceeded to assure Riley with powerful conviction, that he would not have nor would she let anyone touch Riley so long as she could help it. Leta also said she understood what Riley was going through, which Riley couldn't help but disagree with.

Though still visibly uncomfortable, Riley did smile at Leta. "Thank you." She looked at the information and memorized it, intending to do as Leta said just not at the moment as that would mean removing her hands from her pocket. "...I really do appreciate your words...And please don't worry. I'll be just fine after a good night's rest, and I'm sure I'm not the only one." She thought for a moment, considering if she should say her next few words. She decided for it. "What happened...With the guy, and what he said to me...Well, I've heard worse things thrown at me..." Riley paused, "It was more of...Something else that I really would rather not go into. I'm only saying this because I want you to know that I am fine now. Besides, it's supposed to be my job worrying about your guys. Not the other way around."  Perhaps to following day would yield much better results for the doctor.

With the pirate situation resolved, Elric made his way to the cockpit to have a talk with Lindi regarding their next destination. Unlike the majority of the other crew members who seem to be winding down after what had occurred, Elric was as feverishly-paced as he was during the assault on the Glory. Truly, a captain's work is never finished - not until the ship goes down at least. During his short walk to the cockpit, Elric's MOVA started to softly beep. It was a notification - two, actually. One was a status report concerned with the damages to the ship sent by Al and the second was also a status report; this one regarded the ship's systems - sent by Lucy. Wasting no time, Elric opened both documents side-by-side to quickly skim through each. He only needed the gist of it. As Elric walked into the cockpit, he was greeted by Lindi. "Cap'n." Lindi, in his casual, friendly demeanor, said. "What do you have there." Lindi proceeded to ask.

"Reports; courtesy of Al and Lucy." Elric replied as he continued to scan the documents. Once he finished skimming, Elric closed the documents and brought his arm back down to his side. The captain's expression was stern and hinted at mild frustration; Lindi picked up on it quickly.

"That bad, huh?" Lindi asked.

"We ain't gonna make it to the new star system with the Glory in this condition. Al can fix her up somewhat but one of the force field projectors may have been damaged so goin' warp speed is risky. Plus we ain't got the tools for Al to do a proper fix out here in the middle of space." Elric answered.

"So what do we do?" Lindi inquired.

"Well," Elric paused as he leaned against a nearby wall with his arms crossed, "there ain't gonna be a repair station for several thousand light-years. I s'pose we find the nearest rock, dock the Glory, and let Al get her up and runnin' at a hundred again. We might as well restock on supplies while we're at it." Elric proposed.

"Only issue is the complete lack of funding. We're a small crew so Titan won't be rushing to send us the next check for a good, long while." Lindi expressed his concerns.

"You're right." Elric replied as he leaned off the wall and walked toward the second pilot seat. Stopping just to the side of Lindi, Elric stared at the various displays above the controls; specifically, he took note of the galaxy chart that displayed several nearby star systems with inhabited moons and planets. As a seasoned traveler of space - which in this time is simply referred to, in slangy speech, as either the "Black" or the "'Verse" - Elric knew that the crew would need to pick up some extra jobs, and he knew exactly where to go to find some. Elric turned his head to Lindi and spoke. "We'll be lookin' for new work pretty soon. Set a course for Darkfall." the captain ordered.

"You got it." Lindi replied before turning his attention to the flight controls.

Moreu and Ash had been instructed by Elric to go with Riley for medical treatment. As soon as they arrived at the medical bay, Ash stopped in his tracks as he entered the automated sliding glass-and-metal door. The room was white - like really bright white. It made Ash a bit uneasy but, more so, it had him a bit curious. He audibly sniffed the air like an attentive dog with a finely-tuned snout. The air in the room was sterile - fresh. "That is some mighty-fine, clean air..." Ash mumbled to himself. His previous experiences with doctors and their working environments weren't exactly favorable so this is a welcoming change even if it was a bit surreal at first. Letting out a brief chuckle of tepid wonderment, Ash's attention was then turned to the bed that Riley had instructed both him and Moreu to sit on. "Yeah, uhh, I think I'll pass." Ash replied before taking a seat on a nearby stool. From his mannerisms, one could say that Ash seemed nervous; even untrusting of the medical bed. Riley left for a bit to take off her suit which, at the time, was still covered with the blood of the cruiser's doctor.

Once she had returned, Riley opted to tend to Moreu's injuries first, seeing as how they were worse than the injuries sustained by Ash. "You go ahead and take your time, Doc." Ash said as he carefully - even cautiously - scanned his environment. With the initial check-up completed, Riley walked over to one of the medical bay's cabinets and retrieved a few things; namely, some cotton pads and a bottle of rubbing alcohol. She gave Ash the cotton pads and alcohol and instructed him to clean up his wound a bit. Ash promptly did so and completely ignored the stinging pain like a champ. Some time passed and Riley had just finished stitching up Moreu's injuries. After sending Moreu off to rest with some painkillers, Riley's focus turned to Ash. She began by asking about his arm. "A bit stiff," was all Ash had to say about that. Before finally operating on him, she then asked if he needed painkillers. "Hells yeah. I ain't gon' be cut open sober." Ash bluntly replied. With his answer, Riley went to work to remove the bullet.

The operation went by pretty quick and it was relatively painless. Ash was astounded by how skilled Riley is as a doctor; it was definitely a step up from the medical plans he had in the past. "Thanks, Doc. Uhh, you're real somethin' with a scalpel, I s'pose." That was Ash's awkward attempt at showing gratitude and complimenting Riley on her medical prowess. Ash left the medical bay after Riley had bandaged his shoulder and gave him some more painkillers.

In the engine room, Lucy worked quietly checking the rest of the ship's systems after having checked life support and submitted her report to Elric. Then she suddenly stopped and glanced to Al who was working at a different part of the room. He didn't look back but who knows if Al could feel someone was gazing at him from behind. In any case, as usual, there was no distinct expression or emotion on Lucy's face so who knows what she was thinking at the time. Perhaps she wanted to thank him for not telling the others about what she did even if Al couldn't understand why she wanted her "skill" to be kept a secret. Nonetheless, she must have her reasons. "Thank you... Al." Lucy calmly told him before turning back around and continuing her work. She didn't speak another word for the rest of her time there and, once she had completely her check, simply walked off. That girl sure is a mystery.

Sometime later, Ash found himself walking back to the medical bay. He had a tiresome expression on his face. Blood from his shoulder injury can be seen seeping through the layers of bandages Riley had applied. His stitches had popped. This wasn't Riley's fault however. Simply put: the merc couldn't sit around for long without feeling bored. Arriving at the medical bay, Ash entered and abruptly halted when he found Riley and Leta in what appears to be (an almost) tender moment. It looked like they had just finished a conversation. The two female members of the crew quickly took note of the extra body in the room. "Uhh, my stitches popped." Ash said bluntly - so much so that it came off as awkward given the situation. There was a brief pause with Ash's eyes darting back and forth suspiciously between Riley and Leta. He then turned his head off to the side and quickly licked his lips to prevent them from drying before turning his head back around. "I'll be in my bunk." he said before quickly leaving.

"Not a great start, huh? We're barely a day into this expedition and already we've been attacked. Most, if not all, of the crew has been either shot at, pelted by space rocks, or worse. Not to mention we lost a good amount of cargo and now our ship's damaged." Lindi despairingly summarized. "I don't mean to sound negative - and it might just be that I come from a background of disappointments when it comes to these kinds of things - but we might be in over our heads taking on such a huge task with such a small crew. I mean, what's one good thing do we have going on for us right now?" Lindi asked.

"We're still flyin'." Elric answered.

"That's not much." Lindi responded.

Elric paused for a moment to take in the image of space that lie before him - its vastness and silence along with the countless, brilliantly-shining stars gave Elric a poignant sense of nostalgia. It has been a long time since he was last up here - in the Black. "It's enough." the captain simply remarked. With the pirate cruiser swiftly disappearing into the distance behind it, the Glory now embarks toward its next destination: Darkfall.

 • 2 weeks later...
Alphonse sat against one of the engine room’s wall. His space suit was only half taken off and what looked like a simple mess of broken circuitry was laid out in front of him. If it looked like a mere mess of broken circuitry that’s because that’s all it was anymore. The order it was strewn about in made no difference no more and yet it had grabbed all of Alphonse’s attention and still kept it for a few moments.  It was a deep sigh that marked the point in which his mind was brought back. “I’ve got nothing. Nothing whatsoever. No parts I can replace broken ones with and I lack the tools to fix other broken parts. This is all I could even pull out of their without just causing further problems. Elric will need to know about this.” With that he began to tap away at his MOVA and a few minutes afterwards a status report appeared on Elric’s MOVA.

With the most trivial part of the job out of the way it was time to really get to work. Alphonse jumped back onto his feet as well as out of his space suit. Instead, he slipped into his work gloves and donned his H.A.G. goggles.  Of course he knew that with the shields not at their max they wouldn’t be warping but that didn’t mean the job was over. It was still his role on the Glory 7 to keep the ship in the best condition possible and god damn was that something he was going to enjoy doing for as long as he could. It'd only be natural for him to block out anything else at this point besides his work.

"It was more of...Something else that I really would rather not go into. I'm only saying this because I want you to know that I am fine now. Besides, it's supposed to be my job worrying about your guys. Not the other way around." To this Leta could only smile weakly, feeling her efforts were for naught. She had no idea behind the truth of Riley's uncomfortable nature, and odds were that she never would - as Riley wasn't likely to expose this secret in the foreseeable future. With nothing else much to say, she listened to Riley before nodding softly, looking to the floor.

"Yeah, I suppose you're right, there." Leta softly spoke, before smiling as she stood up and turned to Riley. "Well, do have a good evening, Doctor." She politely spoke, before turning for the door, giving her a wave before leaving Riley to her well hidden bleeding hands to tend to. Leta herself sought nothing more, now, than her bed to call an evening. It was fortunate that the ship itself had a clock system relating to Earth Time, it ensured the shipmates would keep to a standard and healthy sleeping schedule for themselves. Soon after opening her door, she swiftly went to changing into some humble nightwear, before laying upon the bed, shutting her eyes.

Riley sighed as she watched Leta leave the room, to continue her day. She knew Leta was only trying to help, and in a small way the talk helped Riley calm down even more so. All that was left was a feeling of self loathing that was there only because she allowed herself to delve pretty deep into her OCD. Remembering that Ash came in a few moments earlier, Riley felt that she should check back with him. But first, she would need to deal with her hands. Taking off the now dirty gloves she carefully wrapped her hands with some gauze, before placing new gloves on. By now, the small bleeding from her hands had stopped so she shouldn't had to have worried about anything bleeding through. Before leaving, she grabbed a bag and placed some painkillers, stitches, new gauze, some antibiotics and scissors to restitch Ash's arm.

A bit later she was in front of his door, and she knocked gently. "Ash, it's Riley. You came in earlier saying your stitches popped. You should know to be careful." She chided. Though there wasn't any hostility in her voice. Just a bit of teasing.

Chapter 2: Righteous Criminals
The crew of the Glory lands on Darkfall in search of work to pay for the ship's repairs and to replace lost cargo. After an encounter with an old contact, Elric secures the crew a job that involves stealing from a local gang of outlaws.
Here's how it is: in the 26th century, humanity finally managed to spread its reach throughout the galaxy thanks to the invention of Dark Energy engines. At first we reveled in our newly found freedom, but soon that little bit was taken away from us when the Interterran Union was formed. Our independence had all but vanished since then. Some people tried to fight back - myself included. You saw how that went. Name's- Well, just call me "Elric Malcolm". I'm Captain of the Glory 7. Got a helluva crew on board: fighters, pilot, mechanic, doctor. We're contracted by Titan Pharmaceuticals to explore the uncharted planets of the 'Verse. It's decent pay, and we're pretty much willin' to do any job that crosses our way. None of it's easy, but that's just life out here in the Black.

The ear-splitting, thunderous roar of propulsion rockets filled the atmosphere, silencing every other noise within an area of approximately two kilometers. Beyond that, the rockets could still be heard five miles out. The Glory Model 7: Queen of Rust Buckets; or at least that's what her exterior appearance would lead some people to believe. In reality, she is still a "damn-fine" machine as described by her captain. More than just some ship, she's what the crew would call "home" for the next several years. Unfortunately, ever since her run in with a pirate cruiser out in one of the 'Verse's many dark zones, the Glory is now in desperate need of repair, and maybe even a little tuneup. Which is why the Glory is now landing upon Darkfall: a terraformed moon with a barren, desert surface. The colonists that reside on this wasteland-ridden rock are forced to rely on the most basic of technologies dating back to even the 21st centuries. Even worse, Darkfall is populated by numerous outlaw gangs that find it easier to rob and steal from the poverty-stricken townsfolk then to simply get jobs. Is there a positive aspect to Darkfall? Well, it's not Kyros.

As the Glory hovers a few hundred feet off of the moon's surface, its landing gears are engaged. The landing location is a scrapyard that doubles as a repair station for wandering ships that passes by Darkfall. The location itself resides near a settlement town called Silverfish Springs and it is, in fact, the most prosperous colony on this miserable rock due to the fact that it possesses at least two wells; possibly a third but don't quote anyone on that. As with any self-respecting settlement on Darkfall, Silverfish Springs is terrorized by an outlaw gang. In this case, the gang is called the "Dune Jackals" and their base is located a mere three miles out so they frequent the town often. In any case, aside from repairing the Glory, Elric and his crew are also here to find jobs in order to recuperate some of their lost cargo - again, a result of their encounter with the pirate cruiser. Docking successfully, it only took a brief moment after for the hatch of the cargo bay to open. Standing within is the entire crew minus Lindi for obvious reasons. Walking outside, Elric scanned the environment methodically. The entire area can be summed up in three words: dust, sand, and scrap.

"Nothin's changed." Elric muttered with squinted eyes and an uncaring scowl. There was an air of impassive nostalgia to his words. For a repair station, there wasn't much repairing going on. In fact, there was only two other ships in the entire vicinity. "I'm gonna go get some help with fixin' up the ship. Just wait here for a moment." Elric said as he turned to the crew. He then looked to Ash. "Ash, don't go killin' anyone while I'm gone." he ordered before leaving.

Ash stood behind the rest of the crew and was sharpening his large knife with a whetstone before he suddenly looked up. "What?" he said, completely missing what Elric had told him just seconds ago.

Lindi then finally showed up in the cargo bay and exited outside to join with the others. "So what did I miss-" he stops himself and scans the area briefly. "Oh dear god, have I landed on the repair station and killed everyone?" Lindi joked about the absence of human activity in the area aside from them.

Arriving at a small hangar, Elric approached a notably large, paunchy man with a shaved head and beard sitting within a metal shack; the man was reading a rather sleazy book. "Excuse me, I'd like for someone to help my mechanic repair my ship over there." Elric said.

The large man looked up with an uninterested and crude expression. "Station's self-service. You can rent or buy equipment if ya'd like." he stated in a slightly rude manner.

"But aren't those your employees workin' on those two ships over there?" Elric questioned while taking a quick glance behind him.

"You got 25,000 Credits to fork over?" the large man asked in reply.

"No." Elric responded.

"Then it's self-service." the man stated. Elric, frustrated with the man, sighed and was about to walk off. "Hold on there a second. Ya still gotta pay the 2000-Credit docking fee." the man said. Elric turned around and, using his MOVA, transferred the stated amount of Credits. "What? No tip?" the man asked.

"Yeah, here's a tip: stop inhalin' your food." Elric mocked before heading back to the others. Arriving back, Elric stood in front of the crew with his hands resting on his belt. "Well, we're ain't gonna get any help from these people so here's what I'm thinkin': Al, you get some basic tools and start fixin' what you can. We'll come up with the money to get you the other tools when we find some quick jobs to do." Elric said before giving a brief pause. "I gotta go meet up with an old contact so I want Moreu and Ash to come with me. The rest of you head to town and see what you can find." he ordered.

"Yes, Sir." Moreu replied.

Arrival on the barren moon of Darkfall wasn't necessarily the most exquisite or exotic planets that Leta had hoped she'd discover on the mission of the Glory 7, yet she did realize every opportunity should be taken with a pinch of salt. At the very least this would just be a pit stop, and nothing more. With any luck, they'd be off this dead-end planet and back on their mission shortly. Keeping this in heart Leta marched her way down to the cargo bay along with the others, awaiting Lindi to land the vessel upon the moon which Leta had half thought wouldn't be able to sustain the Glory's weight, what with how dead and lifeless the moon appeared. The poor bastards who had the choice of living on this planet, honestly. Well hell, it ain't Kyros, so it surely couldn't be too bad.

As soon as the door dropped, Elric engaged in some timely reminiscence which lead Leta to assume he's well acquainted with the place. Immediately making pace he had also ordered the rest of the crew were put on hold, waiting for what seemed to be Elric getting an opportunity in order to spruce up the ship. He had an exchange with what Leta could only think of as the town's greaser, which seemed to be sour based on Elric's frustration, but it seemed some sort of transaction went down nonetheless. It would appear Elric had secured their parking for the while, though that raised the question of how long did they have? Was it some one-hour scam, or longer?

Nonetheless it appeared Elric wanted the gang to split up and search for clues, taking Ash and Moreu with him among others. That would leave Lucy, Riley, and Leta to explore, because we all are very aware that Alphonse was likely to glue himself to the Glory and work on it rather than be sociable and explore the town. Though who could blame him? This place was just so awful on face value, it looked ravaged by time and crime, and nobody was even remotely interested in saving the place. What a miserable dump they had landed in. Although there was some use to putting Leta on intel - that was her damn job after all. With a soft sigh, contemplating all this, Leta locked eyes with Elric asking "Do we have a rendezvous time to return to the Glory, Captain?"

A true dump by nature. More so by the lack of nature. To make things worse, this wasn't likely the worst that this planet held on it. Yet, it had its charm to Alphonse. A world of broken old technology. He probably had a wet dream of this once. Well, the oil in it was wet. It wasn't even perverse. More or less just exploring the world of some past civilization and rebuilding it. That was about as close to a wet dream he's ever gotten or likely ever will get. Especially when the rare moments a girl pops up into a dream he'll wake up in a cold sweat as if waking up from some nightmare. It's all very irrelevant to his fascination with the area though but Alphonse wouldn't really be himself if he didn't often get lost in thought.

The job was clear: Fix the glory up. This would be his first chance at a very VERY thorough check up and there was no way he was going to squander this opportunity. Hell, maybe if they decided to give him a full 24 hours he could boost the engine by a whole 10%. He laughed to himself at that thought of that old Kyros believe that literally anything could be boosted in power by a whole 10%. Even engines with the vast amount of power to move five-hundred ton passenger space cruisers five million light years in a single warp. It probably started with some Kyros taking 24 hours to tighten the band on a sling shot and it stuck from there. That'd seem more realistic of a Kyros. God, are Kyros absolute nimrods. Though that's pretty much what happens when the planet is filled to the brim with uranium. He was getting off topic again. He'd really have to work on his priorities if Kyros racism somehow managed to overthrow technology.

Seriously though, this time he's ready. You could tell because his goggles were finally being properly put on instead of their normally lax half-assed position.. Data began to pop up on H.A.G. and very quickly after his MOVA began to light up with more and more data popping up the point that new data would replace old data. And he watched it all transpire. Taking in every note he could despite it being mostly a bunch of useless garbled gook. "Heads up, I'm sure you all figured this out by now but the air on this planet isn't exactly clean. I'd recommend a gas mask. A good one. And chemical goggles as well. There should be a few in the Glory's maintenance room. I imagine that Lucy would be able to unlock it from here." The data had quickly streamlined itself into various tabs for him to review at a moments notice or check on what even his mind couldn't process in the jumbled mess that originally appeared on the screen. He began to rummage through a few of the various tabs in order to pick up some crucial data. "Well, Elric, it looks like I'll be able to repair the ship. It's not going to be cheap and not exactly easy. At least the Glory's an older model so some of the technology on this planet should be compatible and if it isn't a bit of tinkering and programming will make it. Main problem is: I really am going to need money in order to obtain the proper tools and resources. For now, I'll do what I can which is a statement underselling the fact that there's a lot I can still do."

It wasn't exactly the first place Riley had in mind as a vacation spot. In fact, this would be one of the very last places she would have chosen to come to now or otherwise. Yet here she was on Darkfall, one of the most destitute and undesirable places. Well, supposing one wasn't thinking of Kyros. Riley sighed scratching the back of her head. Her hands had mostly healed, so she didn't feel the need to hide them behind gloves or in her pockets. Moments after the captain announced he was off to fine someone to help repair the ship - to which Riley highly doubt would actually happen - Lindi approached the group.

"Oh dear god, have I landed on the repair station and killed everyone?" Riley giggled, though the attempted joke probably didn't deserve it. While waiting Alphonse made some assessments about the planet's atmosphere and his suggestion for wearing gas masks wasn't a bad idea. Though the ship's Acclimator was a very helpful tool, it didn't take into account the viruses each planet offers. But atmosphere itself shouldn't be much of a problem. Even so, Riley didn't feel 100% on simply roaming around such a planet with a high rates of sickness, and disease. Moments later Elric returned with some pretty dreadful news. Well as far as Riley was concerned. They needed repairs, but for that they needed money which apparently they fell short of. That meant that they needed to move around this place, which didn't sit too well with Riley. Her main priority on this mission was the well being and health of the crew members. Finding jobs also meant that they would have to mingle with the locals, and though Riley wasn't trying to be heartless but she knew he own personal weakness. If she saw someone who needed help, then she would stop to help them and anyone else she saw. Riley's pride as a doctor wouldn't let her leave someone she could help alone.

Elric gave the group their next objective. He, along with Ash and Moreu, would join Elric in finding an informant he knew. While the rest of them, excluding Alphonse, would go in search of some quick jobs to get some money. Leaving her, Leta, Lindi and Lucy in a group. That's when it hit her. There were three people in one group that had 'L' as their first letter. Her right hand twitched slightly. She tried o comfort herself that if she were to count all of the 'L's in their group with would make four because of her own name, but that didn't help by much. 'L's starting a name, and counting all of then 'L's in their group were two separate categories. She sighed, "Sometimes it's a hard life." She mumbled. Well, at least there were four people in their group. So a 2/3 wasn't so bad of a ratio. It wasn't a 3/3, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

Before leaving, Elric was asked by Leta about a rendezvous time. "We'll meet back here at sundown if I don't come go lookin' for you or the others." Elric answered. After the crew had split to go their respective ways - with Al at the repair station and Riley, Leta, Lindi, and Lucy heading to town - Elric took a northern route along with Moreu and Ash following close by. Elric had told them that they were going to meet with an old contact of his; hopefully this person will be of some help to their current predicament. After an approximate fifteen minutes of walking, the three of them arrived at a docking station. It was a fairly sizable station with the entire area being about nine square miles give or take. Large metal shipping containers littered the station; a cluster of which was seeing quite a bit of activity with a long line of people waiting outside an open container - the largest of the stack. The people waiting were most likely refugees as hinted by their disheveled appearance and anxious demeanor. Plus, there were children among some of the adults. The entrance of the container was guarded by two mercenaries armed with impressive tech if not a little aged.

One look from either Moreu or Ash and they could tell exactly what this was: an illegal smuggling operation. Elric already knew as apparent by his calm attitude. The captain looked to Moreu. "Seein' as you already know I read your file, you could guess what I'm about to say next." Elric told her, referring to her previous occupation.

"While I don't approve of what your 'contact' has cooking up here, I no longer have the authority to do anything about it. Captain, the lead is all yours." Moreu replied.

"Okay then, let's get to it." Elric said as he and the others walked toward the shipping container.

The interior of the large container was decorated like the personal office space for whoever's in charge of the operation - Elric's contact that is to say. It wasn't exactly the typical modern-day office you would find in Utopia. No, this office had more of an old world, criminal hideout sort of vibe to it with dirty, tattered fabric framing the metal walls and makeshift windows. An "ancient" rug covered the ground and at the very back of the room is a wooden desk furnished with all sorts of knick knacks. The last notable piece of furniture is a desk chair with worn maroon-colored leather - probably faux leather. Aside from a few guards, there was a middle-aged woman with a sun-worn complexion standing in the middle of the room. She was being examined by a fellow wearing a noticeably cheap suit and tie with a dark undershirt beneath instead of a dress shirt; he also has a patterned handkerchief tucked into his suit jacket's upper pocket. Finally, he wears a bowler hat atop his balding buzz cut. The man looked to be in his mid-thirties.

"Let me see your teeth." the man told the woman; he spoke with a notable Cockney accent. The woman did as she was instructed. "Yes." he simply said after only a brief once over. Then, one of his guards escorted the woman through a different exit. As the man was about to sit down, one of his guards from outside walked into the room.

"There's an Elric Malcolm out here wanting to see you. He says he knows you." the guard notified.

"Malcolm, Malcolm... I don't know no Malcolm." the man replied.

"You want me to escort him off the premises?" the guard asked.

"No, bring 'im 'ere." the man said. The guard then left to fetch Elric, Moreu, and Ash. After a brief moment, they were brought into the room. At the very moment he saw Elric, the man drew a sidearm and trained it on Elric to which Moreu and Ash also drew their respective weapons. The guards responded by aiming their weapons on the party of three as well. "Bloody 'ell! What 're you doin' 'ere!?" the man demanded to know.

"It's nice to see you too, Lenny. Actually, no it's not. Now tell your goons to back off." Elric replied.

"What did you say to me? You gormless nit- This is my place of business, see? You don't got no right goin' in 'ere and tellin' me what to do!" Lenny angrily retorted.

"This is a place of business, right?" Elric asked.

"That's what I said." Lenny replied.

"Then put away the guns and let's talk business." Elric suggested before motioning to Moreu and Ash to place their weapons back in their holsters as a show of good faith. Placing his own weapon back into its holster, Elric raised his hands up and looked to Lenny with a serious expression. "Your turn." Elric said. Lenny still had his weapon trained on Elric and was in deep thought as to whether or not he would comply. Then, Lenny motioned to his men to place their weapons down as he did so himself. "Good." Elric said.

"You said you want to talk business? What makes you think I want to do business with the likes of you?" Lenny asked.

"Whatever bad blood you still feel between us ain't as important as your 'Dune Jackals' problem. I know that for a fact. My crew and I are willin' to help you and your business out for a fair price. You can say no if you'd like and we'll leave; no further trouble from us. But I know your business is sufferin' miserably." Elric explained.

"You fought in the war, right?" Lenny asked.

"What does that have to do with anythin'?" Elric asked.

"Just curious is all. What were you in the war? The big war you failed to win. Colonel, yeah? 'Guts, Balls, and Glory' company. Big, tough veteran. But now you got a ship and you're a Capt'in. But see, I think you still see yourself as a Colonel, yeah? Still a soldier. An honorable man in a den of thieves. Well let me tell you some'in', Colonel: this is my bloody den, and I don't fancy the way you talk down to me. I'm bet'er than you! Above you! Businessman, see? Foundation of a community. You? You're nothin'. You're nomad trash. A lowly scavenger." Lenny responded in regards to Elric's previous condescending tone.

Elric and Lenny locked eyes for a brief, silent moment before Elric finally decided to respond. "Maybe I'm not some fancy gentleman like you with your... very fine hat. But I take business seriously. I'm here for business. You can trust what I say. After all, I'm still an 'honorable man', yes?" Elric said.

Again, there was another brief moment of silence as Elric and Lenny watched each other cautiously - both doing their best to not show any signs of weakness. Then, Lenny broke the silence. "The Dune Jackals 'ave been raidin' my goods - rations, medicine, the likes. If I got nothin' to sell to the people of Silverfish Springs, my revenue suffers; my business suffers. If you and your crew can drive 'em out of town for good and retrieve my stolen merchandise, I'll be willin' to offer you a reasonable reward and a discount on goods. You can buy all the dry rations you can choke down if ya like." Lenny offered.

Elric paused to run the information thoroughly through his head before giving an answer. "We'll do it." the Captain said.

Nodding to the Captain's orders, Leta watched as the group that was Elric Malcolm, Monreu and Ash part from the rest of the group, making their way towards god knows where. It had to be important if he wanted to see an old contact. What confused Leta among most else was that, well, why would the captain have connections of here, of all places? With a frown of suspicion Leta mulled over this for a moment, keeping eyes locked on the Captain until he disappeared with his backup into the distance. She didn't know the Captain well enough yet to say she trusted him, but this shifty moon being a place the Captain had contacts in wasn't comforting news. It dented a little bit of trust Leta had.

Nonetheless, and probably foolishly, Leta gave Elric the benefit of the doubt and didn't feel like snooping around just yet. However, she did want to find a good burger joint - if this moon had to have something redeemable Leta would hope it'd be burgers. So, Leta decided to go out of her way to do that. Looking over to Lindi, Lucy, Riley and Al, Leta asked "I'll break away and find something to eat, since we've skipped our lunch. Do you want me to bring you guys anything if I find somewhere?"

With that question and its' respective answers, Leta swiftly blended into the town as best she could - while the fur coat's brown suited the rest of the town, though, her hair was just a real sore thumb for her. Back on track with Leta going to business finding food. Attempting to keep to herself and hopefully lose herself from the remainder of the Glory 7's crew, Leta took the freedom to hide herself in an alleyway where she swiftly attempted to communicate with the UI:7; unsurprisingly, there was no chance she'd be able to get a signal with the outdated relay tech Darkfall supported. With a frown and rolling her eyes, Leta simply sighed and tucked her MOVA back under her sleeve before taking into account her surroundings. In doing so she took a sniff of the air - and like a moth drawn to a flame, Leta found and buried herself in, while run-down, the most humble burger joint she'd been in.
