Faytl
Send 1 card from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard for each Xyz Material currently attached to a monster your opponent controls, then draw 1 card. Discuss.
玄魔の王
Well... it's not plot device-y because there are legitimate reasons to mill and draw, but it's heavily reliant on your opponent having an Xyz Monster that still has materials. Faytl
True. And unless you're playing against Hazy, you're generally looking at about 2 cards milled, maximum. Usually 1.

So yeah, they still have yet to produce a better "draw 1" spell than Upstart.
Lacooda
It'd be more interesting if you could draw over mill. Mainly as a 1 = 1-1 ratio (1 draw for each material -1). You'd go Black Mist > RUM > Slacker's other version > Creature Swap > This. That's probably the most abusive combo you can pull off from this with 5 draws in exchange for the RUM, the Creature Swap, and whatever you did to make Number 96. Ultimately a situational +2-3 at best. I think that'd be fair... well, plus the monster to take with Creature Swap. As is, you can only really either minus yourself or have a dead draw fairly often. Even in formats that heavily use Xyzs, it's not as viable to use this card of support.
goddamnit names are a pain
but it's heavily reliant on your opponent having an Xyz Monster that still has materials. Does it say the opponent has to have one? You could just play this and draw. Milling is the plus, IMO.
Lacooda
You need action A to perform action B. You can't just play this for the draw effect if it can't mill. Or at least that's what I think.
