R-Genex Antimatter (a Boss for Genex)

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by banishing 1 "Genex" monster from your field or Graveyard. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: Add 1 "Genex" monster, except "R-Genex Antimatter", from your Deck to your hand. If it was a DARK monster: Target 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard; banish that target. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: Target 1 "Genex" monster, except "R-Genex Antimatter" in your Graveyard or banished; Special Summon that target, and its ATK becomes 0.

This is my attempt of giving Genex a boss not unlike Hyperion, with a +1 effect included. Except that instead of destroying or reviving for free, it searches for a Genex monster as most of its fellow R-Genex monsters do. The last effect should be good for maintaining field presence or for discarding/milling to Summon a Genex for your Synchro/Xyz needs, while still reamining as a +0.

Thoughts?

The cost for summoning a 2700 Beater that searches a fairly wide plethora of cards, especially that can combo with Accelerator, is laughably low. You can basically pop it off at any point AFTER the first turn of the duel in a lot of decks that use a fair number of genex, And it has the beatstick power of a Dark Armed (Well, almost; only 100 ATK off) and the effect is just icing on the cake. I see that you intend it to be used with Oracle to make Locomotive extremely easy (Level 8, DARK), but I'd rather a counterpart to solar (ie: level 7, Wind or fire possibly) that makes Vindi a lot easier to make without extra dedication (Personally; The search is soooo good).

The sent to the graveyard effect is good fun, making spamming without using all of your resources up all that much easier. Very nice.

I would lower the ATK to a modest number, probably 2400 or so, and make it a little harder to basically drop whenever you want. Perhaps banish 1 Tuner and 1 Non-Tuner?

The Added banish seems...pointless. I'd simply drop that.

And, as one last bit: I'd make it so you can only use 1 Antimatter per turn, if not just 1 effect (Search or Summon), just to make it a bit fairer and less easy to spam the everloving crud out of your field.

Thanks for your comments.

Indeed, I made it Level 8 for Summoning Locomotion with Oracle/Recycled, also for discarding for Fortress while summoning a Genex in the process and possibly go for a Synchro 8~10. The added banish effect is to give Genex a bit control over the opponent's graveyard, while encouraging the search of a DARK Genex, namely their signature member "Genex Controller" (that you may not be running anyways). The effect doesn't really hurt so I will leave it.

I too want a card that makes the Summon of Vindikite easier, but I can always make another Genex monster for that.

I'm not really a fan of "You can only use the effect of x once per turn" clause but I can see how this card needs it as things could easily get out of control by summoning/dumping multiple Antimatters: Summon 2 of them, search 2 Genex, go for a Rank 8, detach, summon 1 Genex.

I started with a big, Level 8, 2700-ATK monster because, in my opinion, Genex as an archetype really need the support, considering they are barely competitive nowadays, and a boss like this would make them at least as good as Agents, if not a bit better. Keep in mind that Antimatter wouldn't be searchable, except with the hard-to-Summon Vindikite or silly combos like Foolish/Armaggedon + Recurring Nightmare if you run enough 0-DEF DARKs.

BUT, if you guys think this is just too good, I guess I will go with both of your suggestions and turn it into a Level 6, 2400-ATK beater who can still make Locomotions with Remote/Birdman/Controller.
