Blake
I've had the sinking suspicion lately that this card's going to see list attention, and apparently I'm not the only one that's felt like this. I'm not saying this card deserves list attention, but I think that Konami will hit it soon as it doesn't feel like the kind of card they want in their game, yet it's steadily on the rise as a powerful card that decks in general are using often because it does let you dig into your cards faster. Just feel like it'll get hit in the near future. Probably to 2, but still.
Wildflame
Was this..., Limited at some point, maybe? I have that vague feeling. Anyways, great card. It is seeing play in the top decks more often than not, and I sure can see why.
.Ash
I could feasibly see this getting list attention similar to Duality a few formats back. Went to 2 as well if memory serves. I really yo-yo on my opinion of this card and that it might be simply too good at what it does: instant deckthin, basically restrictionless, 37 card deck, assisting degenerate decks (not its own fault but unfortunately it is what it is). The splashable kind of card that Konami traditionally dislikes. Kind of like how Duality was in its prime. Other side of the fence says its the nature of the game these days that makes it so invaluable for players and that some decks (not many mind you) can't afford to make certain cards dead because of its use (for example Geargiagear/Geargiano's). Not always redeeming but its the kind of thing that fluctuates my point of view. I still main 3 Upstart in near-enough anything I can though. Kind of like how I did with Duality in its prime. Slinky
This and Jar of Greed I never really understood. Why use this when you could have just drawn something different? Am I missing something?
goddamnit names are a pain
This and Jar of Greed I never really understood. Why use this when you could have just drawn something different? Am I missing something? You could run a 37 card deck instead of a 40 card deck. This = just another card = not a dead draw = things you want faster This also makes room for Hope for Escape.

Am I missing something? This IS the "drawn something different". At its very simplest, it is the next card in your deck but drawn faster.
Zauls
Its a weird card because you never actually want to draw it. You would rather just draw your power cards/combo pieces without having to use it. However giving your opponent 1000 isn't a large cost for having a 37 card deck. ihop
Playing a 37-card deck means you get to the cards you want quicker. It's pretty fantastic.

BANZAI!!!!
Isn't reckless greed just better anyway? I feel like two cards now, rather than later, is better than a straight up deck thin. just my opinion. Either way, I could totally see this getting put to two. Not outright banned though. Reckless Greed is slower, as a Trap card, and stops you from drawing for 2 turns. If you don't get the cards you wanted/needed, you're in a bit of a bind. Of course, you also want to use two copies of Reckless at the same time to minimize the pain of not drawing for 2 turns. Reckless has its own niche. Canadian
This card could very well see list attention (as could Reckless Greed, Duality, and Cardcar). Many decks are playing these in order to trim their decks and get to their major plays (usually putting out boss monsters) more consistently. Even though the format is technically slower than previous ones, getting to your deck's major plays is more important than anything now. If you are able to go off and your opponent cannot respond, you're going to most likely win regardless of the life points or even card advantage. Since decks are built to revolve around a massive plus-creating play (I would list some, but literally every deck has them), the faster you can get them off, the better your odds of winning. I would suggest restricting some of these game-breaking combos (which are really unfair), but as I have said, every deck has them. The best idea would be to limit their consistency in hopes of giving both players more opportunities to respond and create more player interaction instead of just watching your opponent go off and win. -Noel-
well, only 1 probably a + 0, but what about 2 or 3 copies at a time? (which we usually see this)
Lonk
Jar of Greed is better because it's a +1 when MST'd while Reckless Greed is a +0 It's a 0 if you consider the fact that you skip two of your draw phases. However, if those two cards you draw with it will allow you to press for more advantage, then Reckless Greed is superior over Jar of Greed as MST Bait. Blake
But oftentimes, players don't even activate Reckless in response to MST because if you brick that is just the end of the line for you...It's demoralizing to say the least, and it lets your opponent know you can't do shit so they just push harder at you. 玄魔の王
I find it very odd that after all this time, this is still the only generic "draw 1" spell without a horrible drawback. But oftentimes, players don't even activate Reckless in response to MST because if you brick that is just the end of the line for you... It's demoralizing to say the least, and it lets your opponent know you can't do s*** so they just push harder at you. I don't even set Reckless Greed until I have multiples most of The time. Goose
Reckless Greed is only good in decks that cycle through cards. Dark Worlds are a good example of this because they draw multiple cards outside the draw phase and cycle through their deck quickly increasing the chances that mutiple RGs are drawn while also decreasing the chance that the cards you draw will be dead. Outside a deck that does this, Upstart is better for thinning the deck.

Nebra and Skull just search for a living, so you an keep a pretty decently sized hand during those 2 turns of no draws. So its still safe to just activate one copy for them. Of course, this varies on hand size and hand contents, but still.

Slinky
Cardcar D and Duality have been better for me in Chronomalies Everytime I summoned Cardcar I got veilered, and I never use Duality in anything except Artifacts. I like my Special summons too much to warrant using it.
