werewolfjedi Posted February 17, 2014 Report Share Posted February 17, 2014 since mega frog monarchs and Heiratic dragons are a thing right now, I just thought, "hey, he actually does something against those decks." is there any way to practically apply him? being that he is a level 7 water caster, that needs nothing if you just want to stop tributes. which if you have any battle tricks in your backrow, he could certainly do. obviously not a main board card, but defintely could do something in a sideboard at 2 or so. I already stated that, and I know it's not a perfect answer by itself, but it's defintely a card that shouldn't just be ignored, it has possiblity in the current state of things. Zauls Posted February 17, 2014 Report Share Posted February 17, 2014 This card has a load of applications but because the card is mediocre itself it is rarely used. It can be used for Rank 7s with Rulers/Mermails. It is a Debris and a Chameleon target to make Star Eater and is also has some irrelevant Spellcaster support so you could make rank 7s with Priestess if you really wanted to.
