Uria, Lord of Searing Flames

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by sending 3 face-up Trap Cards you control to the Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card gains 1000 ATK for each Continuous Trap Card in your Graveyard. Once per turn: You can target 1 Set Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; destroy that target. Spell and Trap Cards cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation.

Any card can be useful, including uria. You just need to know what you're doing. And I know plenty.

I like Uria and all, and it's one of my favorites, yea, but here's the thing...
Since Tikis/etc are cards, as well as stuff like Anti-Spell Fragrance/Imperial Custom/etc are also cards, Uria can honestly have his own deck, and it actually be something(Not meta worthy, but still).
Just... I wish this were searchable again, but, you know, Sangan is too good for us.
That aside, Uria is a fun card that also works off decks that also equally as silly(or at least, more or less), and can even function as an amusing boss due to the fact it's ATK can get really high, and really fast/easily. Not to mention, he also clears backrow.
...
Also, it's ironic how a Continuous Trap, of all kinds of cards, is this card's kryptonite.
Discuss.

For YCML 2 or something I remember me, Jesse and Dog King I think planned on each running a Sacred Beast deck. I had Uria. In testing I once geniously overlayed Uria and Metal Reflect Slime into Gustaph Max and did 2k damage for game.  It was probably the most epic duel move ever.

With fiendish and coth being viable this card could see some use. but it's really situationnal, and iirc there are no ways to search continous traps. plus this thing is slow, taking at least a turn to summon

You could also play this off stuff like Horn of the Phantom Beast. Since, you know, you just need to send Face-up Traps.
'Course, they won't add to Uria's ATK, but still.

Oh, how fun it is to take control of this card with Enemy Controller or Creature Swap.

And then what? It'll usually have 1000-2000 tops unless you run a similar Deck.

  1. Suicide it so your foe doesn't reclaim it.
  2. Summon Effect Veiler and Synchro Summon Star Eater.
  3. Activate a Metal Reflect Slime, Summon Exodius, and Overlay them all for Number C9 or SDRGD

  • Into what? Uria decks don't run many other monsters.
  • What are you running with Star Eater?
  • No, seriously, what the -EFF- are you running?

  1. Granted
  2. Anything that can make him with a spare Extra Deck slot.

Brah, do you even Argent Chaos?

The Deck is designed to Summon C9 directly rather than jump through hoops to get the material for Number 9, while the Rank-Up is kept in as an alternate.

i would copy and steal this deck so i could use on devpro or dn but then i saw the naked dude on the paper airplane and i was like

NO

It was used as an easily tutorable level 10 thanks to Mother Grizzly.

This. But if you really care that much, tech it and grizzly out for your cards of choice.
