Kingdom Xathers
Do these contests allow for written cards? Written cards are allowed, yes. Some people disapprove of them, for whatever reason, but I at least allow them. Are you interested in joining?

Darj
Card A: A walking Draining Shield that further supports you with a stat boost and an attack redirection effect for protecting an important monster from a battle. Â Card B: I find the first effect too powerful: Stops ROTA and other searchers, power cards like Dark Hole, and even MST to keep your backrow safe; then it's not even a +0 because the monster is not sent to the grave but, worse, it Special Summons itself. With such effect the second one is arguably irrelevant, and I doubt it would be successful at discouraging the opponent from using his/her Spells, unless he/she has 500 or less LP. Â My vote goes for Card A for being a better Draining Shield, whereas Card B is a way too good +0 Spell negator.
Blue Amoonguss
Card A is a lot in one card. It can serve as a draining shield, boost your monsters by around 400 points, and can reselect attack targets for a monster. Kinda hard to see any downsides with this card. Card B, on the other hand, has a spell negation effect with a casual LP drain with each spell played. The downside for this card is that it has relatively low attack and defense points for a level 5 monster. I'm going to vote for Card B, because Card A seems a bit too broken in my opinion. Card B is balanced, but can be useful for stopping the staple Spells many decks use.

Nathanael D. Striker
Looks like we have a Rule 12 violation because YRPO wasn't given the chance to accept the challenge after asking his question. Â 12. If someone asks a question about a 1v1's card requirements, they have the right to accept the challenge after their question is answered. Â And yes, asking if Written Cards are allowed is considered asking about a 1v1's card requirements since one is asking how they are to format/create the card. As a result, I'm not going to count this particular 1v1 for the Leaderboard. People shouldn't be punished for asking a question and then having the spot be taken from under them. Nathanael D. Striker
Yes, this is a no-contest Leaderboard-wise. Feel free to continue this as a regular 1v1 though.
