Mages of Duality, it has an experimental effect

You can pay 1000 life points and discard this card; place 1 level 7 or higher monster from your hand into your monster card zone. That card cannot be flipped face-down and is sent to the graveyard during your Standby Phase or when it leaves the field. Sending that card is unaffected by other effects.

Rulings notes:

- The effect of mages of duality doesn't summon the monster, similar to how interdimensional matter transporter doesn't summon the monster when it returns to the field. Thus you can place any monster you wish regardless of its summoning conditions.

- Players cannot respond with cards/effects that activate in response to a summon after the effect of mages of duality resolves. Also any effect of the monster you play that activates when its summoned cannot be activated.

- If you play the creator of light this way, its effect to instantly win the duel cannot be used since you didn't special summon it. Also it's original ATK and original DEF are 0.

- "Sending that card is unaffected by other effects" means that no card or effect can prevent it from happening, thus if you play vennominaga, it still is sent to the graveyard during your Standby Phase. Also, the card will go to the graveyard even if Macro Cosmos or a similar card is active.

- If your next Standby Phase after using the effect of mages of duality is skipped by Solomon's Lawbook, the monster will still be sent to the graveyard during your next Standby Phase that you conduct.
