jake_from_state_farm
[attachment=40899:Yu-Ghi-Oh! Custom Cards.jpg] Was also looking forward to making a card that counters cards like Dark Hole and Heavy Storm
PendulumAndPaper
You realize that since you negated it, the new target it creates is useless. Besides, Shift pretty much does the same thing. It's useless.
jake_from_state_farm
Didn't think about the negate part, but say they use lightning vortex on you while they have monsters on their side of the field. activating this would destroy theirs instead. Lightning Vortex doesn't even target? What drugs are you on dog?
jake_from_state_farm
Lightning vortex destroys all face up monsters on your opponents side of the field im just saying that this card can switch the "target" to the opponents side of the field, should they even activate it. im sure there are many other cards that "target" your side of the field, like mirror force or raigeki. ·Toot
Its weird that you mention dark hole and heavy storm. The both blow up the entire field. To add on to that, they don't target. The most you would do, if this was played correctly, would be hitting one card.
DiabloMask
I get what you're trying to do with this, but honestly, it's either a totally useless card or a totally unfair card, depending on your opponent's style, It's not the type of card that'd be used a lot. Anyway, you can change the effect this way: "Activate this card when your opponent activates a spell or trap card that has the effect of destroying monster(s) you control. When this card is activated, target the monsters that would be affected by your opponent's card, those monsters are not destroyed, then destroy a number of monsters on your opponent's side of the field equal to the number of targeted monsters." You also need to use a background in the picture, because this one doesn't look realistic at all.
Sleepy
If a card(s) on your side of the field would be destroyed by an opponent's effect, except by targeting: You can negate that effect. If you do, this card's effect becomes equal to the negated card's effect. ^I think that's what you were going for. This I just wrote is a suggestion of what I think you had in mind, not a grammar fix. It reminds me of Starlight Road a little, except that instead of channeling the energy of destruction into a big Summon, it channels it back to the opponent.
