Lightning Vortex? Raigeki? Mirror Force? Well, not anymore.

I get what you're trying to do with this, but honestly, it's either a totally useless card

or a totally unfair card, depending on your opponent's style, It's not the type of card

that'd be used a lot.

Anyway, you can change the effect this way:

"Activate this card when your opponent activates a spell or trap card that has the effect

of destroying monster(s) you control. When this card is activated, target the monsters

that would be affected by your opponent's card, those monsters are not destroyed, then

destroy a number of monsters on your opponent's side of the field equal to the number

of targeted monsters."

You also need to use a background in the picture, because this one doesn't look

realistic at all.

If a card(s) on your side of the field would be destroyed by an opponent's effect, except by targeting: You can negate that effect. If you do, this card's effect becomes equal to the negated card's effect.

^I think that's what you were going for. This I just wrote is a suggestion of what I think you had in mind, not a grammar fix.

It reminds me of Starlight Road a little, except that instead of channeling the energy of destruction into a big Summon, it channels it back to the opponent.
