Solemn Silver
guise this card is good Once per turn, while this card is in your Graveyard during your Main Phase 2, you can select 1 face-up "Scrap" monster you control, except "Scrap Mind Reader". Destroy that monster and Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. If you do, remove this card from play when it is removed from the field. If this card is used as a Synchro Material Monster, all other Synchro Material Monsters must be "Scrap" monsters. -You have dragon (Obviously) -You attack -They mirror force -you summon golem -attack with golem -mp2 summon beast -mp2 pop beast, grab chimera, summon Mind-Reader -Synch 6 for anything ????? ^_^ Discuss any actual plays/purposes
Toffee.
Aside from the fact I can fully understand why this card only works in MP2, there's a bit more to it....Like, you can try and make things like Naturia Synchros, but Kong is the only one you would ever really use; 'Cept Kong doesn't really do anything outside of this. You could make Archfiend with Breaker, but Breaker is just a weird Cyber Dragon and that's about it.Yes, you can make Level 6s with Golem, but why not just revive something like Beast/etc to make another Dragon? You could use this to, basically, upgrade your Synchros, since you can go from Archfiend into Dragon, or Dragon into Twin. But in this scenario, the later of which are better off without this.ALTHOUGH-This could be used as a weird trigger to Factory, but there is a rather large emphasis on "weird" here.Thing is... There is nothing really wrong with Mind-Reader, if you think about it, it's just... It's a bit of an oddity in the sense that it's hard to decide where it belongs in the Archetype. newhat
What is wrong with Mind Reader is that drawing it is generally useless, unlike Goblin and Beast which have the capacity to survive battles.
玄魔の王
What is wrong with Mind Reader is that drawing it is generally useless, unlike Goblin and Beast which have the capacity to survive battles. Technically you can circumvent that. -Normal Summon Shark -Activate Factory -Shark blows up and mills Mind Reader, Factory tutors Golem It's just what you do with it afterwards that poses a problem. First-turn Barkion isn't a great move. Adding Lube means first-turn Beast is doable, but for 3 cards it's realy gimmicky and not a lot of payoff.
