Dark Scorpion Burglars

[Level 4/DARK/Warrior/Effect/ATK 1000/DEF 1000]

When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: Your opponent sends 1 Spell Card from their Deck to the Graveyard.

Jackpot 7

Normal Spell Card

Shuffle this card into the Deck. When this card in your possession is sent to the Graveyard by your opponent's card effect: Banish this card. If you have 3 "Jackpot 7" banished by this effect, you win the Duel.

Jackpot 7 was a wincon I thought was near-impossible to pull off, until someone had the bright idea to use Dark Scorpion Burglars, Scapegoat and Shien's Spy or Creature Swap for a 3-card combo that lets you dump all 3 Jackpots from your Deck in one go for an "OTK".  Burglars is somewhat searchable with RoTA, but with only 1 RoTA at the moment, you still have to draw into the pieces for this combo (which is fortunate, as this being consistent would be a major pain), but when the combo is successful, I find it to be very lulzy, and if you're lucky enough to draw into all 3 combo pieces early, you can end the game pretty quickly.

What searcher would you loop into Burglars? Tomato and friends have too much ATK.

1.) End Phase flip Scapegoat.

2.) Swap over Burglars on your turn with Shien's Spy or Creature Swap.

3.) Change the Sheep Tokens to Attack Position and ram them into Burglars.

4.) Win

That's the 3-card combo.  Again, the pieces aren't searchable for the most part, so you have to draw into your deck for them, but it can be really funny when it actually works. I'd say it's about as dangerous as anything with Chain Material in it.

Yes. As you are picking up instead of drawing. it will still be treated as being sent from deck to grave. although, why would it matter? it was in your possession, and it was sent by an effect

Because J7 specifically needs to be sent by an opponent's effect, he was worried that MJ2 would be treated as his since it returns to your deck.

But it does still work, since that's not how effect resolution works. If it activated on the opponent's field, it's an opponent's card effect even if it moves at resolution.

EDIT: Also, for battle searchers, you can use the Gusto searchers, as well as Troop Dragon.

Or, you can just One for One a Bat and Dupe it.

That deck is designed for amazing OTKs not this stupid thing.  How dare you?
