I Hate Snatch Steal
You can special summon this card (from your graveyard) by paying 1000 life points (half if your life points are less then 1000) and discarding 1 card, then shuffling 1 level 6 or lower monster from your graveyard into the main deck. If you do, until the end of your opponent's next turn this card cannot be used for a synchro or xyz summon, this card's name becomes that monster's name, it gains ATK equal to half that monster's ATK, and the same effects as that monster. During your Standby Phase: you can tribute this card; draw 1 card. Rulings notes: - Adaptive Magician will be able to activate the effect of Sacred Crane, or any other monster's effect that can activate when adaptive magician is successfully special summoned by its effect. - Adaptive magician has the continuous effects of the shuffled monster as soon as its summon is successful. e.g. If you copy Jinzo's effect, your opponent cannot activate trap cards in response to the successful summon of Adaptive Magician. - Adaptive Magician doesn't keep the effects if it leaves the field or is flipped face down, thus copying Sangan (for example) will only increase its ATK and change its name. - The effect gained is lost in between turns, thus a player cannot "slip in" a card or effect after the gained effects are lost but before it switches to the next turn. †††
You should cut that no Synchro/Xyz clause and place it at the end; where it is currently makes the lore a bit confusing. Regardless, the card is interesting. I like where you're going with the idea but it seems a little too versatile. I don't have any advice on that but possibly rethink some of it.
