Lonk
http://www.mediaite.com/online/glenn-beck-expresses-solidarity-with-9-year-old-boy-bullied-for-liking-my-little-pony/ Grayson Bruce has the right to express himself anyway he wants, and I'm glad that Glenn Beck supports his decision, despite not being an mlp afficianado. Βyakuya
Supposedly if this is what it takes to get to the news, then I guess it's +1 faith in humanity for young children to express solidarity and support. The school has retarded logic for preventing him from bringing the lunchbox. If someone is gay because he wears a certain shirt or dress then trying to prevent that freedom expression is utterly pointless.
Just Crouton
When did Glenn Beck start looking like Colonel Sanders? Well, it's nice to see Beck being rational for five seconds before he one-eighties by saying something stupid like he usually does. Whether it's liking a stupid cartoon, or being a juvenile delinquent, or being a fatso, or bullying all of the above, be yourself, kids, no matter who, including the boot camps and "Scared Straight" programs, tells you not to. Also, Caption hype.
Tentacruel
Huh, the title made me assume he was supporting the bullying of the kid. Glenn Beck hasn't exactly earned the benefit of the doubt, but it's nice to see him doing something not entirely insane for once.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Nice to see someone backing up this kid. The kid deserves to wear / carry whatever he wants, provided it's appropriate for viewing in school. The lunchbag, while yes, is strange for a male student to be carrying one, is perfectly acceptable. The school should not have blamed him for bringing the box in the first place, and should've dealt with the kids who were punching/bullying him (like they're supposed to). We're in that age where gay rights (and standing up for differences) can't be ignored [especially with some campaigns to promote being different; I know my college had something like that during the past year]. If society continues to deny it, then it won't end well. Reading the linked article in there, it mentioned that an 11-year old killed himself over the same thing like this. There are full-grown adult males watching this show and no one really says anything about it. (Yeah, this refers to all of you in Sugar Cube and some students I see around college at times). In short, males liking "feminine" stuff like MLP or Hello Kitty/any associated characters is no different than girls liking "masculine" ones like Power Rangers or heck, even action manga/anime. I'm going to probably regret saying this, but promoting tolerance for others is something MLP does right. (I don't watch the show, mind you.)
