I Hate Snatch Steal Posted March 18, 2014 Report Share Posted March 18, 2014 If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: you can reveal 1 "Trace-Summon" monster in your hand or shuffle 1 "Trace-Summon" monster from your graveyard into the deck; reveal cards from the top of your deck until you reveal 2 level 5 or higher monsters. Choose 1 of those monsters and special summon it, and shuffle the other revealed cards into the deck. During the End Phase, if this card in your possession was destroyed sent to your Graveyard this turn: You can add 1 "Trace-Summon" monster from your Deck to your hand. If this card in its owner's possession is destroyed: you can reveal 1 "Trace-Summon" monster in your hand or shuffle 1 "Trace-Summon" monster from your graveyard into the deck; reveal cards from the top of your deck until you reveal 2 level 5 or higher monsters. Choose 1 of those monsters and special summon it, and shuffle the other revealed cards into the deck. You can only use the effect of "Trace-Summon Mage" once per turn. You can discard 1 card, then reveal 1 "Trace-Summon" monster in your hand or shuffle 1 "Trace-Summon" monster from your graveyard into the deck; reveal cards from the top of your deck until you reveal 2 level 5 or higher monsters. Choose 1 of those monsters and special summon it, and shuffle the other revealed cards into the deck. You can only use the effect of "Trace-Summon Beast" once per turn. When your opponent activates a monster effect: you can reveal 1 "Trace-Summon" monster in your hand or shuffle 1 "Trace-Summon" monster from your graveyard into the deck; reveal cards from the top of your deck until you reveal 2 level 5 or higher monsters. Choose 1 of those monsters and special summon it, and shuffle the other revealed cards into the deck. You can only use the effect of "Trace-Summon Angel" once per turn. When your opponent activates a spell card, trap card, or spell/trap effect: you can reveal 1 "Trace-Summon" monster in your hand or shuffle 1 "Trace-Summon" monster from your graveyard into the deck; reveal cards from the top of your deck until you reveal 2 level 5 or higher monsters. tayfga15 Posted March 19, 2014 Report Share Posted March 19, 2014 Core ideas pretty cool without saying anything about balance (since that would require analysis :P) The idea of super good Level 5s seems like it would result in endless streams of Freezadon---->Full Armored Crystal Zero Lancer. Two small complaints; firstly you should probably use that cool new gameplay term Excavate instead of reveal.
