Mm, bizarre art and unpronounceable names. I like this. Wait, I recognize some of those card arts...
You can Normal Summon this card as an additional Normal Summon by also place 1 "Surrealist" monster from your hand face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon this card. If this card is Special Summoned from your Spell & Trap Card Zone: You can target 1 face-up monster; on the field: destroy that target it. During either player's turn, except the turn this card was Special Summoned: You can target 1 "Surrealist" card in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; place this face-up card in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, and if you do, target 1 other "Surrealist" card in your Spell/Trap card zone, and Special Summon that target it.
So, this is like Crystal Beasts, but they accelerate themselves by placing their companions onto the S/T Zone themselves while cheating their way onto the field as extra Normal Summons. I like how this is going, doing the CB's job at a faster pace.

I've lifted text from Ultimate Offering and assumed these Surrealists' extra Summon effects start a Chain. Otherwise, I'm not sure how to phrase it in PSCT...
You can Normal Summon this card as an additional Normal Summon by also place 1 "Surrealist" monster from your hand face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon this card. If this card is Special Summoned from your Spell & Trap Card Zone: You can add to your hand 1 "Surreal" card from your Deck to your hand.
I'm not quite comfortable with how the Surrealists repeatedly swap themselves in and out at instant speed. Granted, this only happens once per turn, but when played well it can dodge any form of targeting removal while garnering non-stop card advantage.
You can Normal Summon this card as an additional Normal Summon by also place 1 "Surrealist" monster from your hand face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon this card. If this card is Special Summoned from your Spell & Trap Card Zone: You can Tribute this card and Target up to 2 "Surrealist" cards in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; Special Summon those targets them. This effect of "Surrealist M0ODY" can only be activated once per turn.
Similar to Secutor in that it doesn't continue the tag-in-tag-out sequence, but brings 2 out in the process. Maybe it'll strongly combo with a card I've yet to review?
You can Normal Summon this card as an additional Normal Summon by also place 1 "Surrealist" monster from your hand face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon this card. If this card is Special Summoned from your Spell & Trap Card Zone: You can send 1 "Surreal" card from your hand to the Graveyard; and if you do, your opponent skips their next Battle Phase.
I've noticed the Surrealists are all LV1 0/0s and have contradictory Types and Attributes. Love that flavour.
You can Normal Summon this card as an additional Normal Summon by also place 1 "Surrealist" monster from your hand face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon this card. If this card is Special Summoned from your Spell & Trap Card Zone: You can target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it.
If they're all LV1 0/0s, control is pretty much the only way for them to hold the line until something big happens. On the other hand, they also access the plethora of LV1 support in the game...
You can Normal Summon this card as an additional Normal Summon by also place 1 "Surrealist" monster from your hand face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon this card. If this card is Special Summoned from your Spell & Trap Card Zone: Inflict 800 damage to your opponent. This effect of "Surrealist HAP9Y" can only be activated once per turn.
With all these effects to choose from and the relative lack of S/T boardwipes, playing the Surrealists might require some thought. Should I nuke their monster or their S/T? Should I chip for damage or tutor? When's the right time to do it?
You can Xyz Summon this card during either player's turn. If this card is Xyz Summoned: You can place 1 "Surrealist" monster from your hand face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Until the End Phase, Increase the ATK of this card by gains 1000 ATK for each "Surrealist" card in your Spell & Trap Card Zones. This card cannot declare a direct attack your opponent directly. Only once, while this card is face-up on the field, During your Main Phase: You can Send 1 "Surreal" card from your hand to the Graveyard; Special Summon any number of "Surrealist" cards from your Spell & Trap Card Zones. This effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field.
I was going to be impressed at how this card can become the main offensive presence for the Surrealists until I noticed that it doesn't inflict piercing damage and can't attack the opponent directly. Considering that the Surrealists can easily make D4DA at a moment's notice, on the other hand...

Can D4DA be Xyz Summoned during any point in any turn, e.g. the Battle Phase? If so, the utility factor of this card might be a lot higher than I thought.
Place 1 "Surrealist" monster from your Deck face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card. Then, gain 1000 Life Points. If this Set card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect: Special Summon 1 "Surrealist" monster from your Deck.
Hello again, Magma Wave. How long has it been? You were such a nice weenie boardwipe...

I presume the SS effect only triggers if it was destroyed while Set. Otherwise, if your opponent targets it for S/T removal, you can Chain this card and set up a Surrealist pressure combo and get the last laugh. Unless that's what you intend...
Target 1 "Surrealist" monster you control, and 1 "Surrealist" card in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; place the first target face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, and if you do, Special Summon the second target. Then, gain 1000 Life Points. You can only activate 1 "Surreal Perspective" per turn.
And of course if you can't swap during that turn, you can force it to happen anyway. It may be a -1, but you do garner card advantage off what happens after the swap.
Send 1 "Surreal" card from your hand to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Surrealist" monster from your Deck. During the End Phase of this turn, return shuffle 1 "Surrealist" card you control into your Deck. If you cannot, you take 3000 damage.
However, the Surrealist you Special Summoned cannot swap that turn. If used on your opponent's turn, it'd only be good for absorbing a non-piercing attack, or making an emergency D4DA.
Place 1 "Surrealist" monster from your hand face-up into your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card. Immediately after this card resolves, Special Summon it. During the End Phase of a turn in which this effect was activated, draw 1 card. If this Set card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect: Draw 1 card.
As with Magma Wave Surreal Trace, I presume the bonus draw 1 is intended to happen if the card is destroyed only while Set. Otherwise, Chain it to removal, and garner all the card advantage.

Summarized thoughts: This is what would happen if the Crystal Beasts and Gladiator Beasts had a child. A bunch of nonsensical free-form... things that defy all common logic. I like that.

The fact that they have 0/0 base stats means it's easy to bait them simply by threatening with an attack. Repeated protection from attacks would be needed to keep the pressure up.

DUEL MASTERS HAS COOL CARD ARTWORKS; SHOOSH
*ahem*

I didn't necessarily know how to word the Normal Summoning part, so thanks for that bit of clean-up.
All the names are pronounceable, I just swapped a letter here and there for a number that basically looks the same as the swapped letter. I mean, it's a known fact people don't read every letter in a word, so as a result the middle letters can be jumbled up gibberish for all anyone cares.
Plus, as the name of the Archetype implies, it's all based on Surrealism; Element of surprise in art; Hence why all the artworks are flat-out weird and/or interesting. The Type/Attribute's contradict and/or don't make sense, even if you do compare them to the image; D4DA is a WATER/Machine, with a pic of a bird that looks like it's on fire, for example. The names of the card themselves are all forms of emotion and/or characteristics because Surrealism is, to an extent, made of raw imagination(or something like that), so typically ones own self expression would stem from emotions and what-not. So naturally, the effects would be rather scatterbrained while still keeping the same basic principal of how they function.
And keeping up with the element of surprise motif, it's why they can all, basically, turn into other monsters by swapping themselves out with eachother at will.
The Xyz, btw, D4DA, is a reference to Dadaism, which was basically the foundation of Surrealism. So naturally, the Xyz of the set would be a reference to that.
Yes, I meant for D4DA to be able to be made on the spot, whenever you felt like it. Which is why he can't make a direct attack. Since, you know, you could just clear stuff with Brave and Sorrow, and then attack directly with something that potentially gets up to 3000.

These are all really cool – awesome concept! Really dig how each monster has a paradoxical or uncommon combination of type and attribute. The only grammar errors I found in my first read was some redundant wordings in COMPASS1ON and D4DA's effects. Otherwise, I'll refrain from trying to correct any OCG because I'm not too good with that stuff. Still, I really like these cards, and I can agree with Gadjiltron's judgements above. This is one of those brilliant ideas I'd love to try testing out to see how they'd fare in the proper game. Otherwise, they feel balanced. A very fast archetype with many versatile options to shift the layout of the field, but also naturally weak for combat and too diverse to make a strong pairing with most other archetypes. Great job on this!
