Realistic, but OVERPOWERED effect pop culture cards! ^_^

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone! This is my first post ever, so I decided to include a card based off of my profile :). Anyway, I decided to take the characters we all know and love and create yugioh cards outta them! These cards don't have ridiculous attack or defensive points, however I decided to make them have RIDICULOUS effects. This made them extremely OVERPOWERED, but I found it fitting since, these characters in actuality are OP and just plain awesome possum  :D I was trying a new concept where I would take pop culture characters, merge them with the formatting of yugioh, yet still maintain their special traits and abilities in the form of effects! If y'all like this, let me know and I will happily make some more! :) Since they won't fit in this forum, i'll place them in the following one! just find my name and view, if theres a better way please tell me im still a noob haha

Sleeping Lion

There is a rule here in CC that no Divine-Beast or DIVINE monsters may be used; as they are exclusive to the God cards. (Support is okay)

Also, card is in violation of the Rule of BEWD (no monster may have a higher Level than it), ATK is unrealistic (yes, Utopia ONE has 2501 in manga but this isn't it)

Pikachu

This is essentially Swords of Revealing Light on steroids (has the 3 turn lock + forces opponents to stay in whatever battle position they're in). It also can't be negated? Yeah, this is OPed without question.

Spartan117

SS itself from Deck or hand if you have 7+ monsters in graveyard, S/T immunity and can't die in battle, negates monster effects + battle damage towards it. Also bounces itself to the Deck after 3 turns and then requires you to Tribute Summon it in subsequent turns. And you can't Tribute/discard it.

In terms of the 1st effect, Monster Mash / Lightsworns or any other mill deck will have a field day summoning this card (they'll fulfill the requirements). Monster negation effect deals with 101 and some other threats, but given that it can negate unlimited effects w/out cost, broken. I would cut out the SS from Deck, but either way, it's still overpowered. (Yes, you already mentioned in title)

You seriously need to fix your OCG; it's difficult to understand your cards' effects. As Gadj mentioned in your other thread, you need to make your cards more realistic if we're going to take your creations seriously. Yes, this is Pop Culture so I should not be throwing the RC book at you, but making OP cards even in here isn't going to make you famous; well, not in a good way, however.
