Zeaux
Ascending Prince LIGHT/Level 3 Warrior/Effect During your Main Phase 1, while this card is in your Graveyard: You can reveal 1 monster with 2400 or 2800 ATK in your hand; Special Summon this card (from your Graveyard). When Special Summoned this way: You can return 1 monster with 2400 or 2800 ATK from your hand to the Deck, and if you do, add 1 monster with 2400 or 2800 ATK with a different name from your Deck to your hand, but it can only be Tribute Summoned. The effects of "Ascending Prince" can only be used once per turn. ATK/1200 DEF/500 Saw an idea on duelingnetwork forum and decide to try it myself. So, is it a good choice? Would it create a new engine for Monarchs? CnC
iC RiskQ
I mean, it's okay. It is during your Main Phase 1, which means, you can possibly have a Treeborn already out, plus this card, which also means you can get an even bigger monster other than just Monarchs. (implying that treeborn is used for decks with tributes) Also, it can be used for the Gods, which means it's so easy to search out for with this. Know what I mean? I don't have anything against this card, but it's super gimmicky. Also, I've seen people tell others not to put the "1996 Kazuki Takahashi" thing on the card, because people wont believe you made this card. Just a heads up. newhat
This is lots better than Treeborn Frog because it has ATK, no Spell/Trap restrictions and can be used after setting up a play. Its search radius is very wide and while the Tribute Summon restriction is heavy it is also guaranteed on any Level 5-6 monster in your Deck. I cannot possibly look through every card to see if there's a stupid combo somewhere, but with Treeborn Frog this makes it possible to Tribute Summon anything in your Deck with no cost. ʇı ʎɐs ɐuuoƃ uǝʌǝ ʇou

Zeaux
The card itself was biased on a idea. Now that you guys mentioned, I see a lot of flaws. Clearly this is a Monarch support, but with its actual effect it helps a lot of other Decks too. Updated the OP.
