JLF800
Got bored so I decided to create a rank 1 card. Not sure if this is good or terrible so any opinions?
Greiga
4 Level 1 Monsters This card is not destroyed by battle. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and target 1 card on the field; return it to its owner's deck. If this card declares an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; This card gains the ATK and effects of the detached card (if it was a monster) until the end of the damage step. I think that's the correct way to do it.

Flash Flyer - Sakura
4 Level 1 Monsters This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Target 1 card on the field; return it to the Deck. If this card declares an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; until the end of the Damage Step, this card gains the ATK and effects of the detached card (if it was a monster). Fixing the OCG fix a bit more. OK, you made a Rank 1 monster that requires more investment to go into than all of the current Rank 1s out there. To be honest, not too many people are going to run 4 Level 1s for the purpose of summoning this card. Effect-wise, it's nice for disrupting your opponent OR simply recycling a card you don't need to the Deck. When it attacks, it can detach a material and gain its power, which helps it a bit when it attacks; not too such when it gets attacked by the opponent due to its low 1000/0 stats. Reduce it to a 2 or 3-mat monster; that way, it'll be easier to summon and there'll be more Decks that are capable of summoning this card. Picture-wise, won't say much other than it looks like you just uploaded a GFX gradient as this card's pic; no offense.
JLF800
Once again, fair enough. These first few days of posting on forums have been slightly off putting. Not because of the criticism, I was well aware of that, but that fact that everyone on here are Yu-Gi-Oh Geniuses. Although to be honest I'm still as rookie in Yu-Gi-Oh on the grand scale of things. Anyway thanks for the help, I'll be sure to watch my OCG next time.Note: I need better sources than Google images for the card art. I know there are loads of other places I could use but they never seem practical, even Devianart.
newhat
I trawl Google Images with phrases like "Robot Monkey" and phrases ending in "art" (e.g. "blimp art"). This card is fine. It's quite a hassle to make and dies to most offensive and defensive effects but provides great removal. ʇɥƃıɹ ƃɔo ǝɥʇ pıp ǝuop sʞloɟ noʎ ɟo ɹǝɥʇıǝu
