Thar Posted May 10, 2014 Report Share Posted May 10, 2014 For those who don't know who Buckley is, he's a Canadian comedian on a site called Band Camp who records audio clips about certain subjects related to society and its frowned-upon ways. He has a Youtube channel where he uploads them with some visual aid, but all of his stuff is on Band Camp. Just recently, he uploaded a promo video for this audiobook, a short story about a little kid who runs into Mr. Reality in a forest after he loses his toy helicopter. The rest of the story pretty much speaks for itself (though not as most of you might imagine. Mr. Reality is not a pedophile. Believe me, I thought so at first as well.) The audiobook is like $2 in Canadian dollars, which is pretty f*cking cheap, but after listening to it, while I wasn't all too impressed with the writing, I had to agree with the main message: Reality sucks. I'm not expecting anyone to read it or to have read it to know what I'm talking about, but I'll just leave this thread here just in case. Discuss.
