Trebuchet MS
Target 1 face-up non-Xyz monster you control; it gains 1000 DEF until the End Phase of turn. This card reminds me of something... oh. Of course. Temporary stat boosts that don't do anything else are mediocre at this point of the game.
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Stat boosts can do something, but most of the time, a card that does nothing but boost stats is going to be very lackluster. Furthermore, since it is not a Quick-play or otherwise some sort of ambush card like Shrink or Honest and co., it actually becomes worse than The Reliable Guardian. Plus, since it's a Normal Spell, the DEF boost is not going to even help out in a battle, and would really just be used if you need the DEF to be a certain number for your turn, which is never IIRC. I wouldn't really recommend making a card that purely boosts DEF. The Reliable Guardian and Shrink already exist. Furterhmore, there is D2 Shield, which outright doubles your monster's DEF forever, as well as Stronghold Guardian, who is a 1500 DEF hand-trap. Try to let this card help the monster in other ways than just boosting its DEF.
jellal17
maybe if it was quick effect i dunno :S
TFMegamanlan
The name of this card makes me think of Futurecard Buddyfight... But I was thinking that this was going to be some kind of quick-play Waboku or something... I would at least suggest that (as it would make sense with the name) But yea, heck the Hand-trap isn't used at all. I would suggest either putting another effect in there (like your Opponent's monsters can only target the targeted Monster with attacks or something like that) or just completely change the card effect. As it is, this card would probably be one of those Starter Deck cards that was only in the deck but still no one uses ever.

Would it be better if I add a effect cancel in their and add a quick spell attribute
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
By making it a quick-play effect negation card, it becomes comparable to cards like Forbidden Chalice more than The Reliable Guardian, Stronghold Defender, and whatever else is there. Chalice is, well, outclassed by the big three monster effect negators (Effect Veiler, Fiendish Chain, and Breakthrough Skill) in anything outside of being a secondary effect-negator for casual Decks based around Beast King Barbaros and pals. It should be quick-play so that the DEF bonus can affect the outcome of battles, but monster effect negation is simply covered too well.

How about in a certain amount of turns, when you lose LP, instead gain that much?
