Tinkerer Posted May 18, 2014 Report Share Posted May 18, 2014 This is a lockdown archetype of sorts where the main goal is to stop the opponent from summoning by filling their side with unusable tokens while attacking their life points directly. I'm not done with it, and I'm also hoping to branch off this, but these are just a few of the cards: This card cannot be destroyed by battle. This card can attack your opponent directly. During the Battle Phase: You can discard this card; target 1 "Core" monster on the field, and if you do, double its ATK until the End phase. This card may be normal summoned without a tribute. You may tribute this card and all the cards in your hand to destroy all the cards on the field. If you do this, you may special summon "Rubble Tokens" (Rock-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 200/DEF 200) to either side of the field for every "Core" monster destroyed this way. Rubble Tokens cannot be tributed and no XYZ monsters may be special summoned as long as there is a Rubble Token on the field. This card loses 1 level every standby phase. When this card is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, you may Special Summon up to 2 "Core Tokens" (Machine-Type/EARTH/Level 3/ATK 1600/DEF 400) to your side of the field. For every "Core Token" special summoned this way, special summon 1 "Core Restrainer Token" (Machine-Type/EARTH/Level 2/ATK 200/DEF 1800) to your opponent's side of the field in defense mode. Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 "Core" monster, equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. While equipped by this effect, the equipped monster loses 300 ATK and can attack the opponent directly. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, return this card to your hand.) While this set card is destroyed, activate one of the following effects. If this set card was destroyed by the result of an effect of a "Core" card, activate both effects. -Special summon 1 level 3 or lower "Core" monster from your deck -Draw 1 card Remove all charge counters from one card or destroy one token on your side of the field. Destroy 2 face down spell or trap cards. I'm still wet around the ears when it comes to the competitive metagame, so any help would be really appreciated!
