Blake
I just cannot deal with this thing in Shadolls. Forcing my cards to go off (esp. Falcon) usually bites me in the ass over helps me, unless I have backrow enough to answer their Lances and Wiretaps in addition to answer Bear. Just in testing, holy hell is it hard to deal with a bear in the long run. why does everything i actually play have a more or less bad fire fist matchup. Greiga
Card's good. How was the Hunder matchup?
Blake
Card's good. How was the Hunder matchup? Hunders had a horrible, horrible 3/3.5 Axis fist matchup, given that it could set up instantly to a point Hunders could not answer, even with Exciton. Modern day it probably wouldn't be as terrible, but still bad. 4 Axis wasn't as bad, but it still involves knocking off bits and pieces of your advantage in a similar manner to what Hunders do WITH the Extra Deck, so it was almost like playing a better version of itself that could grind more but not quite as good at exploding. Post-DUEA, IDK, haven't tested much v fist.
Toffee.
why does everything i actually play have a more or less bad fire fist matchup.Could just be pure dumb-luck.I mean, Bear is kinda' sorta' an engine all by itself.
newhat
This would be deemed monstrously overpowered, rather than just aggravating, in olden times when there wasn't the speed to deal with it. The next new paradigm will be when this card is too slow.
Wildflame
The next new paradigm will be when this card is too slow. That is approaching soon I'm afraid. But yeah, at the moment it's still really good, as the go-guy in Fire Fists, or as a tech with Tenki in some other random decks.
