You can only use the effect of "Satellarknight Unukalhai" once per turn. If this card is Summoned: You can send 1 "tellarknight" card from yourDeck to the Graveyard, except "Satellarknight Unukalhai".

Makes Starcrossed Stellarknights go live, sets up Altair plays, 1800, RotA target, f***ing great

discuss the archetype, since this one card will bring nothing and I need to know if YCM thinks anything besides "most generic Archetype".

It indirectly searches Deneb when Deneb can't even search itself (or if you're in a hurry, just dump Vega then grab it with Altair). That's a great thing in itself when I have a pretty terrible hand, but there's also plenty of times that my Unuks just sit around in my hand waiting for my better options to burn out before I start saying "ok 1800 beater time." (Usually the duel ends before then.)

As for the archetype in general, I don't really mind the whole generic feel it has to it. In fact, I normally don't even notice it because omg outer space stuff.

Unuk is the biggest non-Xyz in the Deck atm (unless you're running Thrasher), so its a good first turn play to summon it, dump Deneb, and set Starcrossed to use when they try to get over it. I'd say it's great at 2 or 3, preferably 3.

As for the deck as a whole, I really like them. They drop the pretence of having a gimmick outside of Xyz, and none of their monsters are particularly irrelevant to the deck thus far, meaning you could theoretically run 1+ copies of every Satellarknight in the Main Deck. The problem is that thematically they're never going to get a 2 material Xyz, because all the Xyz monsters are based off the Summer Triangle (Deltatheros) , Winter Triangle (Triveil) , and Spring Triangle, which hasn't been released. All of these would thematically need 3 materials.

Also, while the starting monsters in DUEA were great, the ones in NECH were underwhelming. This makes me fear that they might get Blackwing syndrome (ie: great starting cards that get hit by the banlist, then mediocre support from then on, most of which doesn't help them at all). At least Satellarknights are playable from the start, unlike Blackwings.
