This is my card from leaderboard 1v1  against Empoledom. Any suggestions?

Lore:

This card cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects. When this card is Summoned: Change this card to Defense Position.  While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot target other monsters you control for an attack. During the Damage Step, when this card is being attacked: The attacking monster loses 500 attack (permanently), then inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. There can only be one face-up "Little Spike Ball" on the field.

I agree with everyone else. It doesn't really do too much. If you want to keep it with the same effects, maybe add something like your opponent can only attack it, and all their monsters loose 500 ATK. I don't know just throwing ideas out there.

You Summon it, your opponent Summons a monster with 1550+ ATK, they attack this, eat the damage, and it dies. Not very good.

Feels like a modified Marshmallon. Doesn't really do much.

Edited the card; even though i don't agree with some of you guys' comments

If you don't agree tell us why so I can condescend at you.

The edited version still doesn't do much; it redirects one attack, inflicts its damage, and dies. Then your other monsters die because it's easy to Summon more than one attacker in a turn.

More DEF would be nice, and maybe an easy way to get it on the field.

How does it not do much? Weakens opponents monster, forces burn damage and 1500 def. Also ever heard anything like facedown defense position before

People are more inclined to destroy face-down monsters with effects rather than attack into them. With fewer non-Artifact monsters being Set, the possibilities for face-down monsters funnels towards a select few like Ryko or GK Spy or the like, so it makes people wary of Set monsters unless they're familiar with the opposing Deck.

I was afraid we'd get to this point.

Its immunity to card effects is a Continuous Effect. These apply only while the card is face-up. So while your card is face-down, your opponent can and will pop it with removal, because whatever is currently written on your card doesn't apply.

I actually really like this card. And to be totally honest, from a frequent reader of comments, if he would have made it any more powerful, someone would complain about it being overpowered. I think as a generic card, it's pretty good. But I'm just a random person, not really an expert or nothing, just a lover of the game.

I forgot that... So THAT'S why I made it changed to defense position

It's annoying, but weak. With a Safe Zone clause molded into its effect, pretty much the only way to get rid of this card is by battle or Spellbook of Fate (but Prophecies are becoming really irrelevant, so this doesn't really count). And, of course, you have to do so with one of your minions who happens to have over 1500 ATK, since a 500 ATK nerf to most Rank 4s knocks them down to "can be killed by a big minion" status (or lets you Ragnazero the heck out of it if they can't remove it from the board in time or otherwise counter that).

The 500 nerf + 1k burn isn't much, but the thing is that it's one of the most unstoppable plays possible. Your opponent pretty much has to take the pain, and making this card more potent in what it does changes it from "annoying but weak" to "annoying but darned annoying." Run the correct amount of battle-oriented cards (Prison, Lance, etc.) and revival Traps (CotH, the weaker CotH that only works on 1k or less ATK monsters), and your opponent pretty much plays with a lot less Life Points than you if you can sit on this for a few attacks.

While this card is pretty meh, it's also a card that I believe shouldn't become better since it's practically mandatory that your opponent is going to take the damage and you can create "you can't win because not enough LP lol" situations with this card's hard-coded Safe Zone protection. It just stalls, burns, and otherwise trolls the opponent.
