Blake
Once per turn: You can send 1 “Lightsworn†monster from your hand to the Graveyard, then target 1 other “Lightsworn†monster in your Graveyard; add it to your hand. Each time a card(s) is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, place 1 Shine Counter on this card. If a “Lightsworn†card(s) you control would be destroyed by a card effect, you can remove 2 Shine Counters from your side of the field for each of those “Lightsworn†card(s) instead. evilfusion
Oh god, no. It's a Continuous Monster Reincarnation for Lightsworns, that cost a Lightsworn. It gets counters based on the number of times you mill, and you can prevent effect destruction for every 2 counters you remove instead. ...Actually, I don't think it's that good. Specifically, I don't think it's needed in any way, because Lightsworns don't really worry about effect destruction. They usually prefer to produce it in the form of Field wipes for 1000 LP. Blake
I'm not so sure it does. JD is also destroying Sanctuary itself. And? Maestroke/Lead Yoke can protect other cards than itself, even if it would die, so this wouldn't be different. And even then, it can save itself as well. "Lightsworn Cards". That's true, I overlooked that Sanctuary is a Lightsworn card (imagine that).
Greiga
How does this save you from milling JD or a spell? Thanks Konmoney
evilfusion
How does this save you from milling JD or a spell? Thanks Konmoney It lets you better modify your Graveyard and ditch dead Lightsworns, like Wulf. Your comment feels ironic, though. If Konami was all about the money, they'd LET YOU recover JD and/or Spells. But they're not doing something that stupidly broken, so they're money-hunters. Toffee.
Considering this is based on that Realm of Light, it's an interesting addition to that concept. Speaking of which...Realm:All "Lightsworn" monsters gain 100 ATK for each Shine Counter. Is Realm either worded lazily, or would it also work in conjunction with this?I mean, this part of it's effect doesn't really say it's tied to anything. How does this save you from milling JD or a spell? Thanks KonmoneyLets NOT directly tie JD into the Archetype, please.
Brinolovania
Is this really necessary? Lightsworns already have plenty of stuff, they don't need a continuous way to recycle Lumina or the tuners. Admittedly, the reason they don't need it could either be that it is too op, or just that it's really not needed. But still!

It would have to explicitly say "for every Shine Counter on the Field", unless Realm gets an errata. You CAN however use Realm's Counters for this card's destruction evasion effect. Greiga
Lightsworn Sanctuary fixes a key vulnerability of Lightsworn Decks: the risk of getting the wrong cards in the Graveyard. They made it sound like you would have a way to get ANY card back. Also I always call them Konmoney. Inb4 comment how that makes me look stupid. I mean, if they DID interact, it would be silly. Since, you know, given the nature of Sworns, you could get like at least a 1000 ATK boost going. Armoire
I don't really find this card all that amazing, but it's not ridiculously bad either. It kind of makes Wulf and Felice not a dead card in the hand when you don't have Solar Recharge or Lumina on the field. And offers them protection from effect destruction. How many do you guys think you'd run in a generic Lightsworn deck? Personally, I think I'd run 1 at most just to get back Lumina or maybe a Lyla.
