No, this thread isn't about lolis.

 

This is a little... Project(?) that I'm making to fill my summer. A new set comprised of four RC Threads and four random cards with no relation to each other. Think of it more as an album instead of an archetype, after all the album is called DEGENERATEDUELISTS. Be hyped.

You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 2 or more LIGHT monsters whose total levels equal 7 as it's Xyz Materials. Once per turn, during either player's turn when a Monster is Special Summoned: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; reduce that card's ATK to 0 and activate 1 of the following effect(s): *Inflict damage to both players equal to the original ATK of the summoned Monster. *Negate the summoned Monster's effect(s), and if you do: Halve this card's ATK. (Permanently)

Seems pretty powerful for a generic R5. I would limit the card to LIGHT monsters only (oh wait Artifacts are LIGHT).

Also, I would prefer only half the ATK.

Screw it, just make him Rank 12. Now nobody can abuse it.

Yeah, I would make it 2 Level 7 LIGHT monsters so D-Rulers and Mermails can't make it.

No man, it obviously needs to be Rank 13. If we make it Rank 12 DNA Transplant Yubel decks could abuse it!

 

No rly 2 Level 7 LIGHT is the best way to go.

Without a LIGHT archetype dedicated to drop Rank 7s available, it would be a pain to drop this except in weird decks designed specifically for it (through Level-modification cards and/or Lightray Diabolos/Daedalus). Thankfully, its alternate summoning condition makes it much easier to play, and turns it into a viable option for decks with Level 3-4 LIGHTs, or Levels 2-5, etc.

 

On the effect, the first part is good by itself, but the second effects make things tricky: either you take damage along your opponent, or strip the monster from its effect along its ATK at the cost of rendering the card virtually useless for combat.

 

In my opinion the card is good, I like how it encourages you to think and take risks, and it definitely should be used wisely; or you could just not give a damn on your LP and take +/-4000 damage after using the first effect twice.
