Regirock, Regice, & Registeel (Now with Regigigas)

Since the remake is coming I feel like making these cards. The effects are hidden ability and clear body. Maybe I will put Regigigas here. 3 Images belongs to shawnnl.deviantart.com.

 

Edit: Ok so Regigigas is added. The effect is Slow start and Crush Grip. The only problem about it is what type it is, so I was thinking until I gave up and put it as a Rock-Type. Well here is Regigigas. Image is from planetapokemon.net.

 

 

2 Level 5 Rock-Type monsters

When this card is selected for an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Materials from this card; halve this cards ATK and DEF to negate the attack. Once per turn, this card is not affected by card effects.

 

 

2 Level 5 Aqua-Type monsters

Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; for every Aqua-Type monsters, this card gains 300 ATK. Once per turn, this card is not affected by card effects.

 

 

2 Level 5 Machine-Type monsters

Once per turn, this card is not affected by card effects. At the start of the damage step: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Toss a coin, if you do, it gains the following effects.

. Heads: Double the battle damage.

. Tails: Halve the battle damage.

 

 

3 Level 6 monsters

You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 5 Rock-Type, Aqua-Type, and Machine-Type Xyz Monster you control that has no Xyz Materials as the Xyz Material. When this card is Xyz Summoned, it cannot declare an attack for 3 turns. When this card conducted the battle damage: Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; activate one of these effects.

. When your opponent's Life Points is higher than 2000; double the battle damage.

. When your opponent's Life Points is lower than 2000; halve the battle damage.

 

 

[Flash Flyer - Sakura]

In-game, the Golems are more defensive so they should have higher DEF stats to reflect that. However, that's just my two cents on the matter.

I'll get on with the OCG fixes and general CnC.

 

Regirock

2 Level 5 Rock-Type monsters

2 Level 5 Aqua-Type monsters

Registeel

2 Level 5 Machine-Type monsters

Once per turn, this card is unaffected by card effects. At the start of the Damage Step: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; toss a coin, and if you do, it gains the following effects.

. Heads: Double any battle damage.

. Tails: Halve any battle damage.

 

 

1. It has decent stats on its own and can circumvent stuff like 101/Exciton to some degree, however it is essentially deadweight after it detaches and uses its effect. Not sure how this ties into Clear Body/Sturdy though; I suppose the negation is a reflection of it. As for Decks that can summon this, Chronomalies can feasibly make it, though they'd rather go into 33 [I didn't see any other Level 5 Rocks that can make this though].

 

2. Not sure what other Decks besides Sharks can go into this, but in any case, simple stat boosting doesn't do a lot, especially considering the prevalence of the aforementioned Rank 4 Xyz. The ATK gain is somewhat reminiscent of Ice Body (though aesthetically speaking, LP gain would've worked better to tie into it but it's fine as it is).

 

3. CyDra decks can pull this off. As for its secondary effect (Light Metal), it works nicely if you're already inflicting a moderate amount of damage and need to increase it; but much like other luck-reliant cards, you either get the damage halved or inflict twice as much. Same goes if you trigger this against your opponent's attacks; either you can neuter it somehow and survive OR you get a heavy chunk of LP removed and possibly lose the game.
