·Toot
I haven't fondled GIMP with a card template in quite some time. This is my first time posting a card with a pic in while as well. lel Cannot be Special Summoned. You can banish this face-up cared; Special Summon 4 of your banished ''Gem-Knight'' monsters with different names in Attack Position. During the turn you use this effect, you cannot Special Summon monsters except ''Gem-Knight'' monsters. You can only use the effect of ''Gem Wolverine'' once per turn. CnC would be lovely. ·Toot
Lol it was supposed to be a ragged vintage type template. I thought it looked pretty bad. I haven't made a card like that in so long. Lol
Sander
Another example of a neigh impossible to use card with a broken effect for a bad deck. Can't be searched by Gem-Armadillo, so it's a dead draw almost all of the time and doesn't promote anything else but "spam spam spam with Gem-Knight Fusion, then spam some more". Also, you actually will not be getting any good monsters out with this card anyways, as no sane person who happens to play Gem-Knights is going to banish Garnet / Tourmaline (if they happen to run it), nor are you going to be banishing your Fusions (they shouldn't be in there in the first place). You're only going to be banishing Lazuli / Obsidian for GK Fusion. tl;dr: Badly designed, neigh impossible to use, broken support for an archetype that doesn't need any more dead draws. Ren✧
Flavor: There is a correlation between name, pic, effect, and intended use, but while the picture does allude to what you are trying to achieve, I don't think it captures the essence of the "Gem" monsters quite right. But I know how difficult it can be to find appropriate pictures for archetypes and what not, so it really isn't that big of a deal. Creativty/Originality: Meh, not overly creative. There isn't anything that is new and interesting. Pretty much a beefed up Rescue Rabbits for Gem-Knights. It's new-ish for the achetype, but not for the game as a whole. Playability/Usability: Obviously something that can Special Summon 4 monsters at once is something that any deck would love to have. The restriction of course hinders full potential, but the full potential is vastly OP so that is good and expected. As an archetype specific card, this card fits right in with playstyle, or at least on paper it does, I've never actually played a game with a Gem-Knight deck. As a Whole: The card's flavor is slightly off, but it is pretty much an unfixable problem and one that really doesn't need to be fixed. You worked with what you had and that is admirable. Isn't overly creative or original, but at the same time it hasn't been seen in the archetype, so you are more or less fine there. In terms or usage, would obviously only be used in a Gem-Knight deck(duh, it is archetype specific) and since the monsters need to be banished I would imagine it would ever be run at more than 1(perhaps 2). I know that they like to banish their monsters, but since you have to summon 4, it is a bit restrictive on what you can do. Like I said, I don't play Gem-Knights so I can't say how fast they can get multiples of fours in their Graveyard, but I would definitely suggest thinking about changing it so the effect says 'up to 4' and would think you would need to get rid of the 'with different names'. From what I understand, truly the only Gem-Knight deck with running is heavy on Citrine, so this card probably wouldn't see much action as is. ~Renegade~'s 'Weekly In-Depth' Review: 3/5(...I think)
