-Dom-
So, these were my entries into .Buddha's Level 1 archetype contest, where you made 2 monsters, 1 spell and 1 trap to support said cards. The basic premise of them is level manipulation, with the trap making them offensive due to it instead of just being used for extra deck summons as most other level change cards are, similar to fortune ladies in a way. These are the 4 made, so far, more to be added soon (probably a monster that negates traps to start): EDIT: New Cards, and the boss monsters coming soon! (CnC would be great, and any OCG fixes, just any thoughts on the cards really:)

When your opponent activates a Spell Card: you can discard 1 Spell Card from your hand to negate the activation, and if you do, banish that card. Once per turn, you can banish any number of Spell Cards from your Graveyard to increase this card's level by 1 for each card banished. If this card is sent to the Graveyard as a Synchro Material Monster, you can add 1 banished Spell Card to the owner's hand.

When your opponent summons a monster(s) with a level, you can discard 1 monster card from your hand to negate the summon, and if you do, banish that card. Once per turn, you can banish 1 monster from your Graveyard: this card's Level becomes equal to the Level of that banished monster. If this card is used as an Xyz Material, you can add 1 banished monster to the owner's hand.

FLIP: target 1 face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field; this card's level becomes equal to the targeted card's. If this card would be destroyed, decrease its level by 1 instead. A Synchro/Xyz monster that was Summoned using this card as Material gains this effect: This card cannot be destroyed by battle.

You can Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard by tributing a monster you control whose level is equal to or greater than this card's. When this card is Summoned: add 1 "Deep Blue" Spell/Trap card from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, you can decrease this card's level by 1 to target 1 Set card your opponent controls; destroy that target. If this card would be destroyed by battle, decrease its level by 2 instead.

Target 1 "Deep Blue" monster you control: Special Summon (from your hand) 1 monster whose level is equal or less than the targeted card's. If this card is discarded to activate a monster effect, you can add 1 "Deep Blue" card from your Deck to your hand. When this card is banished, draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Deep Blue Spark" once per turn.

Target 1 "Deep Blue" monster you control; excavate cards from the top of your deck equal to the targeted monster's level. Send any excavated Spell cards to the Graveyard, and shuffle the rest into the deck. Then, draw 1 card for every Spell Card sent to the Graveyard by this card's effect (maximum 3).

When you draw this card in your Draw Phase, you can reveal it to send it to the grave and draw 1 card (you cannot draw any more cards in the Draw Phase that you activate this effect). During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard, when your opponent Summons exactly 1 monster with 2000 or more ATK(while you control a "Deep Blue monster"): return that monster to its owner's hand.

When you draw this card in your Draw Phase, you can reveal it to send it to the grave and draw 1 card (you cannot draw any more cards in the Draw Phase that you activate this effect). During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard, you can banish this card from your Graveyard to target 2 Set cards on the field; reveal 1, and destroy the other.

Activate only when a "Deep Blue" card is sent to your Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, all "Deep Blue" monsters you control gain ATK equal to their level x500. If a "Deep Blue" monster would be destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or card effect), you can destroy this card instead. You can only control 1 "Into the Deep Blue".

2 Level 1 monsters When this card is Xyz summoned: place 2 Spell Counters on this card. Each time either player draws a card(s), place 1 Spell Counter on this card. If this card would be destroyed (by battle or card effect) you can remove 1 Spell Counter from it instead. During either player's turn, you can return this card to the Extra Deck to Special summon the Xyz Materials attached to this card to your side of the field. Then, increase their levels by 1 for each Spell Counter on this card when this effect was activated.

CnC please! (if you do, you'll get something that rhymes with wep)

iC RiskQ
Deep Blue Spark, Summoner Monk doe.
-Dom-
Deep Blue Spark, Summoner Monk doe. Hmm, I suppose that could be a viable combo, though running Deep Blue cards in the same deck as Monk probably wont be too bad (though I guess adding Lancer could be good). Any thoughts on the cards as a whole or individually? (bump)
iC RiskQ
Yeah, I like 'em. Swordsman has that, Koa'ki Meiru Wall aspect, only it stays on the field rather than just being tributed (which is good)

Swordsman has that, Koa'ki Meiru Wall aspect, only it stays on the field rather than just being tributed (which is good) Thanks, I'll probably add some more soon, with there only being 4 currently, but in the meantime: BUMP
Iphrem
Something about Deep Blue Swordsman seems off. Like the loop.
-Dom-
Something about Deep Blue Swordsman seems off. Like the loop. Do you mean the loop(ish) with Swordsman and spark, meaning if your opponent plays a spell you discard, add another and can banish to draw and increase its level by 1? I wouldn't really call that a loop or too degenerate, unless you meant a different one? Also, any other thoughts on all 4? (bump)
