Anarkist
Archangel Luciel, Seraph of Dawn - The Morning Star 3 Level 8 DARK monsters This card is also a LIGHT monster. This card gains 300 ATK and DEF for every DARK monster on the field and in your Graveyard, plus 200 ATK and DEF for every LIGHT monster on the field. During the Battle Phase: When a card effect is activated you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the card effect and Banish the card. Anime Effect 3 Level 8 "Fallen Angel" monsters This card is also treated as a LIGHT monster. Can attack twice in the same Battle Phase. When this card is Special Summoned you can add 1 card from your Graveyard to your hand. This card gains 300 ATK and DEF for every DARK monster on the field and in your Graveyard and 200 ATK and DEF for every LIGHT monster on the field. During the Battle Phase: When a card effect is activated you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the card effect and Banish the card. Your opponent must then Banish all cards with the same name from his/her hand, Deck/Extra Deck, and Graveyard. Dokutah
( trivia: I'm quite care full about my idea reference L.O.L) put aside my exorcism equipment... I'm actually gonna rate this first: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/319281-the-end-of-days/ but it just pop-up in my head that some how you had post something before the brahma...and i found it L.O.L okay for this card it self it a simple aggro card with max amount ATK (counting Dark only) topping at 4300+-7300+ and DEF at 3400+-6400+ worthy enough for setup 3 DARK Level 8, and it also have limited yet power full negation effect (only for thrice as long it has material and battle phase only) to summarize this card for me its balance enough (although in my opinion if this card real it will hit semi-limited cards) if you want though you can change its name to Fallen Angels if you want to make an archetype (considering to other card you post -the one that the link i tag along this comment) although i do like to alter the naming a bit to something that more creative and less obvious...L.O.L (up to you)
Anarkist
Yeaa I created this "Fallen Angel" type for this fanfic Im workin on. It pits the one of a kind all powerful Celestial Gods (Brahma, Shiva, Vishnu) and the 7 Great Archangels against the powers of the 3 most powerful Fallen Angels (Lucifer, Kalyug (lord of Kali-Yuga), and the first of the fallen Pralaya). Zauls
Is this really worth it for 3 Level 8 DARKs? Sure its a huge beatstick and its negation effect can be helpful but 3 Level 8 DARKs are almost always going to have more ATK than it and if you manage to get them all out you've probably won anyway without summoning this. Plus, the only Level 8 DARKs used in competitive play right now are Grapha, sometimes Beelze, Colossal Fighter and sometimes The Dark Creator as a tech in Shadoll decks (and that's not even TCG yet). None of those are played in decks that can get 3 Level 8 DARKs on the field with much ease. Dark Worlds wouldn't even waste 3 Grapha on it. Change it to 2 Level 8 DARKs and it may have some use, but still not really competitively. Also if the card is for a fanfic rather than to be realistic then post it in AOC, not RC. Anarkist
@Saber It's supposed to be a real version of a card---ah I dont have to explain myself to u. I posted it here cause I wanted it here
Flash Flyer - Sakura
As Saber already mentioned, this card is basically a beatstick with a negation effect. It's helpful, yes, but not really worth the 3 Level 8 DARKs required to summon it. One of the possible decks that could make this, Gimmick Puppets, tend to go for Rank 8s themselves, yes, but they have better things to go into than this (and often with less investment and more payoff); mainly their own members and other Rank 8s that aren't Attribute-specific. (I may be wrong though). If you manage to get the necessary materials out for this card, well you have better things to do with them. We don't know what your new Archetype is capable of doing [aside from what you said], but if it fills this card's summoning requirements, then fine. In terms of its negation effect, it only works during battle so if your opponent decides to use 101/Exciton or another effect that does not trigger during BP, then your effort is essentially wasted. It's nice for blocking Mirror Force or some other stuff, but that's about it. Lower it to 2 DARK monsters, and this card may be worth summoning over other options. However, the Attribute restriction limits it to a select few Decks that run them. On a sidenote, RC is for cards that are well-designed/realistic (meaning that it emulates actual cards in the game) and are up for critique to make it better. If you're posting it here simply for the sake of it, I'll warn you that you may not get the comments you want. Don't get offended if people say your cards won't work; remember what some of us told you in status, a good amount of members here play competitively and since cards here are meant to emulate a level clsoe to that, the standards here are as such. There is room for casual cards, but you need to make sure they can work properly w/out being clunky. I don't particularly see any real issues in this card, aside from what Saber already pointed out, but right now there isn't much of a reason to play this over another Rank 8s that are easier to summon. It may help if you post this "Fallen Angel" Archetype; though keep in mind that said Archetype already exists in Japan (It's Darklords in the English territories). Ironically though, you could use the actual Darklords (well, Superbia/Asmodeus) to summon this card, but you'd be better off winning with those two alone [with other support] if you even get them on the field instead of using them to Xyz Summon into a beatstick that lacks any form of protection except from battle. Im not looking for specific answers or praise. I didnt yet get to post the cards that go with it. Since im still fleshing out this "Fallen Angels" archetype--that's half the reason I posted it, to see how it culd stand alone first. I was pulling the OP cards from stories I'd written and thinking 'ok wat if this was a real anime, how would these cards be released legally?' so that's how I approcahed his effect--I think the cards that support him give a more complete picture but I havent fully completed them yet
