that's kinda cool, he can sub in for any synchron monster, and can synchro summon with junk from the grave, but doesn't have a only synchron synchros option, so that grave synch can techinically make whateveer you need.

 

so, if you had access with this while quickdraw had been first out, would this have been used?

It's certainly an interesting card, but it's a bit limited. While flexible in terms of what you can Synch for (the same stuff Quickdraw works with), it's also able to Synch for non-Synchron monsters. However, its revival effect is far, far more restricted, only able to revive Junk non-Tuners, and then forcing you to Synch for a Synchron-Tuner monster.

 

It's very good, but I can't help but feel Quickdraw is just better for its primary purpose, and that it requires a significantly more focused Deck to work well.

I completely missed reviving only a Junk monster and only summoning a Synchron Monster. All I can think of that quickdraw would do is just get Junk Archer or Nitro Warrior or something.

It can Synchro as a -1 if you have Junk in your Graveyard but you can't use multiples effectively.

So it's nice that this card doesn't have a Level restriction.
