Meaning that a Deck would have to be 40 different cards. Would this take a lot of speed out of the game? I know that Burn would probaly rule more but meh.... Any thoughts? Hunduel Posted July 5, 2014 Report Share Posted July 5, 2014 If the restriction also works on Extra Deck card, it would mean that the strongest cards would find their place in almost any Deck, which is just one step from Cookie Cutter decks and there would be a high chance that everyone would use the same Deck(s). Even with a frequently updated banlist. I'm pretty sure that GB would rule that format until the first changes.To make a "Highlander" format more balanced (1 copy of the same card in a Deck), these changes should be included:- Only semi-limited and unlimited cards are allowed from the actual banlist- 60 card Decks instead of 40Any other rulings are optional.
