There's a slight difference between your presentation and his.

 

"You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) during your Main Phase 1 by tributing 1 Warrior-type monster." means that it is an inherent Special Summon. It doesn't start a Chain, and can be stopped by things like Black Horn of Heaven or Rai-oh.

 

"During your Main Phase 1: You can Tribute 1 Warrior-Type monster; Special Summon this card (from your hand)." The colon here implies that there is an effect activation that can be stopped by Divine Wrath or anything that responds to monster effect activations. But because the Special Summon is part of an effect resolution, Black Horn, Rai-oh and the like cannot stop it.

The effect could be easily abused with, if you take The Immortal Bushi into consideration.

Ah, I see now, I didn't think about that. But I still, his wording is actually correct that way. It should be something like this: "During your Main Phase 1: You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Tributing 1 Warrior-Type monster."
