ems97
This took me a while to make these cards. As an addition I even put a Rank-Up-Magic card for hem to change forms. Enjoy these 7 cards I made. 2 Level 6 WIND monsters During either Player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; target 1 monster on the field; that target cannot conduct its Battle Phase. 2 Level 6 LIGHT monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this card can attack your opponent directly, and if you do, halve the battle damage. 2 Level 6 EARTH monsters This card is also treated as a Beast-Type monster. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; EARTH monsters gain 300 ATK and cannot be destroyed by battle. This effect lasts until the 2nd End Phase after activation. Target 1 face-up "Number 641: Tornadus, the Incarnate Cyclone", "Number 642: Thundurus, the Incarnate Bolt Strike" and, "Number 645: Landorus, the Incarnate Abundance" you control; Special Summon from your Extra Deck 1 "Number C641: Tornadus, the Therian Cyclone", "Number C642: Thundurus, the Therian Bolt Strike" and "Number C645: Landorus, the Therian Abundance" with the same Type as the monster you control but 1 Rank higher, by using it as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to that target also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) 3 Level 7 WIND monsters Must first be Special Summoned with "Rank-Up-Magic Reveal Glass" targeting "Number 641: Tornadus, the Incarnate Cyclone". When this card is Special Summoned; gain 500 Life Points for each Xyz Material it have. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; WIND monsters you control gains 300 ATK until the end of your 3rd End Phase. This effect can be played once every 3 turns. 3 Level 7 LIGHT monsters Must first be Special Summoned with "Rank-Up-Magic Reveal Glass" targeting "Number 642: Thundurus, the Incarnate Bolt Strike". When this card is Special Summoned; gain 400 Life Points for each LIGHT monsters you control. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this card gains 400 ATK, and if you do, this card cannot declare an attack. 2 Level 7 EARTH monsters Must first be Special Summoned with "Rank-Up-Magic Reveal Glass" targeting "Number 645: Landorus, the Incarnate Abundance". This card can also be treated as a Beast-Type monster. When this card is Summoned: All monsters your opponent controls loses 600 ATK. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this card can attack again. Flash Flyer - Sakura
1. While there are some Level 6 WIND monsters that can make this card, do keep in mind that none of them have any synergy with each other (and several of those monsters are Extra Deck). In terms of its effect, I am assuming the attack lock is permanent [good for neutering problematic monsters, but just note that the opponent can simply use the affected monster as Xyz, Synchro or whatever) 2. So basically Thundurus is a direct attacker. Considering that only Hieratics or some other LIGHT decks that can churn out Rank 6 can even run this [and even the former has better stuff to be going into over a monster that can only direct attack for 1250 damage; not including any alterations to its stats]. 3. Treats itself as partly Beast-Type for the sake of the support they have now, and some power-up/battle immunity for a couple turns. Back to the usual summoning things, there's about 1-2 Decks that could feasibly make this, so it has some merit as it stands now. 4. Generic RUM for the Kami Trio. Though given the wording, it implies that you need to have all three of them on the field to even play this card, which leads to heavy consistency issues because you need WIND, LIGHT and EARTH monsters in the same Deck to run it. I'd advise that you adjust it so you can just summon 1; because as previously mentioned, no good Deck will run different Attributes that don't offer synergy. 5. OK, it grants you some LP but the ATK gaining effect is meh, especially when you have to wait a while before it can be used again. The Regenerator ability is reflected in its LP gain effect, but otherwise does not build on the original. Look at most of the existing Chaos Numbers for examples, though since Therian formes have different abilities from their Incarnate formes, guess this part can slide a bit. 6. Another LP gain effect (like Tornadus), but like it, the stat gaining effect is disappointing. The ATK boost is mediocre (even though 3100 ATK on a Rank 7 is nothing to laugh at) and it locks off your attack; judging from the wording, it pretty much locks it from attacking PERIOD. In this case, why do you even bother boosting if it can't put those points to good use (unless you run some weird strategy to force your opponent to attack it). 7. Unlike the last two, this one actually does something useful. Slashing your opponent's points is nice (Intimidate), allowing smaller monsters to destroy things that they wouldn't be able to do, and being able to attack again is nice. From the wording though, it implies that it can make a second attack this turn. Another quirk though, the materials should read 3 Level 7 EARTH monsters. Though since all of the Therian formes share a lighter variant of C88's summoning clause, guess the materials aren't necessary. That being said, most if not all of the Rank-Up Xyz require their base form on them to activate said effects.
