-kyo-
normal spell Activate only at the end of a Battle Phase in which a face-up monster you control unsuccessfully attacks. Pay 800 Life Points. Select 1 monster you control. If the total ATK of all face-up Attack Position monsters your opponent controls and the total DEF of all face-up Defense Position monsters your opponent controls are both greater than the selected monster's ATK, you may conduct a second Battle Phase this turn. During that Battle Phase, the selected monster can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each (only the selected monster can attack). anti-swarm? please discuss
Expelsword
All that text just screams "conditions".
evilfusion
Okay, let's see... Firstly, one of your monsters has to have unsuccessfully attacked this turn. Attack negation isn't really THAT popular. It has an 800 LP cost. Your opponent must control monsters in ATK position whose combined ATK are greater than your monsters AND monsters in DEF position whose combined DEF are greater than the ATK of your monster. In exchange for fulfilling this ridiculous set of conditions that will almost never realistically happen, you get a second Battle Phase! A second Battle Phase where your monster gets to attack all your opponents' monsters! WTF is this?
Maeriberii Haan
where's the unfair part of this I wonder?
Greiga
You forgot the part where it's a Normal Spell so on top of all those conditions you can't use it anyway.
Expelsword
where's the unfair part of this I wonder? It's unfair in the anime when the conditions were guaranteed to happen. Not so much here.
evilfusion
You forgot the part where it's a Normal Spell so on top of all those conditions you can't use it anyway. If released precisely like this, it would be ruled the same way as Curse of Fiend, which is a Normal Spell you can only activate during the Standby Phase. Or it would say "activate during Main Phase 2 of a Turn in which absurd conditions X and Y are fulfilled" where's the unfair part of this I wonder? In all seriousness, it would be that despite clearly failing to deliver (the attack), the sports judge ruled that it didn't count, and the player (monster) was allowed to try again. OmegaWave
Utopia? Negate its own attack? I dunno. It's neat, but not practical.
evilfusion
Utopia? Negate its own attack? I dunno. It's neat, but not practical. Your opponent would need ATK position monsters with over 2500 ATK combined, and DEF monsters with over 2500 DEF combined. Just use Double-Up Chance. It wasn't shoved down our throats nearly often enough.

But I still would rather swarming my field to kill my opponent's monsters than playing this.
