Bringerofcake Posted July 25, 2014 Report Share Posted July 25, 2014 While this Special Summoned card is on the field, "Melodious" monsters you control cannot be targeted by card effects, or be destroyed by battle. This card is problematic. Yes I lost to it and I am pissed as all hell moderately grumpy about it, but that doesn't excuse how this and elegy become an almost impenetrable wall, save for certain deck specializations (Zerofyne, Skill Drain). BoE sounds like a really bad idea to me. Breaks the lock with the monsters currently on field, sure, but gives them consistency and draw power to get into a Mozart and reset the lock. Bringerofcake Posted July 25, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 25, 2014 The way I've seen is either a: non-targeting effect negation (Skill Drain, Zerofyne)b: non-targeting non-destructive removal (Creature Swap comes immediately to mind)c: preventing them from hitting the field in the first place.
