This makes this card far better than I originally thought, just because it is an out for 101, not to mention what we already knew it worked against, like 11, enemy controller, and so forth.

Though to be fair, it is a nice little buff. Things that equip the monster to themselves or things like 101 don't work of a Taotie'd synchro, which just makes it a little bit better. Still only a 1-of though.

You run 1 because it's another Suanni that doesn't count toward's Suanni's OPT floating, it's a great card for Jiaotu plays, it's not too dead in the hand because Level Eater and Jiaotu, and it crashes with Bitchrash at worst.

It ditches any 2 yang zing CARDS to basically get an instant Synchro. Which is a huge advantage no matter what form, be it Beelze (Good against Qliphs, Dolls), Yazi, or Baxia. It puts you into a good position for the rest of the game.

 

Negation existing doesn't change how potent it is, especially when you're gonna be running 2-3 lance, Compulsory, and Book of Moon

 

If you have to waste an NS on this to get an advantage, there's no problem. You're getting an advantage.

People who believe a -2 for any reason is unacceptible. I know people who live and die by card advantage and refuse to make plays that don't at least break even.

And this is where those people get hung up. They won't play any Synchro they can't Debris Dragon/Masked Chameleon/etc into.

...Then those people are bad and are going to get smashed by Qlips and Dolls alike, and will probably end up losing most of the mirror matches too, because in the Yang Zing mirror, it really comes down to whoever resolves Baxia first.
