If a monster equipped with this card would be destroyed, destroy this card instead. If this card has "Number 80: Rhapsody in Berserk" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect. ● You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 card on the field; banish that target. I'm actually going to say this is a decent card Post-NECH. In fact, it's the best R5 CXyz card. It's a generic +2000 equip made from any used up R4 (Castel comes to mind, Lavalval Chain, Emeral, as do others by deck), which helps against random ass Killers. It's a DAD and/or Crow combo with its base form, which is a generically good card anyways, and this is a nice buff to just making it to pick off a single card you really want out of the bin. And in that case, it actually permanently removes the issue you don't want to deal with, like Doll fusions, Tool, etc. It's not like using base 80's effect then only knocking off 1-2 cards is bad. If you have to use 80 as D.D. Crow, then that's a virtual "+1" per use most times, because then it's likely going to advance you in the matchup significantly. If I'm removing (El) Shaddoll Fusion or Roots or Falcon targets or whatever, you're hurting them and helping yourself. This is a virtual "+1" per shot. So, I honestly believe this is the best CNo/CXyz, because it's much more versatile than C69, which is JUST a huge ass beater. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I mean, it basically gives you the ability to Banish 1-3 cards the Opponent controls, literally for free. (Outside of Ranking up 80, of course). No.80 being generic and pretty solid in its own right for the Graveyard banish justifies needing it as Material to use this thing's effect. The fact this can banish ANY card, with no limit on the number of times you can use it per turn can really swing momentum in your favor, even if you don't have another Xyz to boost by 2000. Even the equip effect is really good, as 2000 ATK truly hurts, and then this can destroy itself if the equipped monster would die instead (a shame No.80 can't do that). Equipping it to the right monster can make it an enormous chore to kill. I mainly run this and its base form in my Gogogo Over-Hundred Deck, but it's just really good. You certainly aren't going to bust out 3 level 5s for this, so, Limited Barians awayyyy! Well, when you run a way to turn LBF into a draw card, it's actually not dead much at all. Besides, people were considering running LBF in R4.dek, due to Qliphorts and Killer, for C69.
