If you control a "Galaxy-Eyes" monster: Negate the activations of your opponent's Spell Cards, Trap Cards, and monster effects that are in the same Chain as this card, and if you do, shuffle all of those negated cards on the field into the Deck. If you control a "Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" monster, you can activate this card from your hand.

Requires you to control some actually decent Rank 8(s) but still dies by being a tad too specific but would otherwise be stupid.

The card design topic instantly made me think of this. Discuss.

Finally, another card that can negate things in the Chain beyond what immediately precedes it, barring Vanity's Call.

Stifling the whole Chain and then shuffling it into the Deck can cut two ways - where monsters are concerned (and most likely to be affected), they end up in the last place they want to be. Where Spells and Traps are concerned, they're not wasted, meaning you have another chance at them unless you can recycle them.

Chain Burn gets mixed feelings about this. Their entire wumbo combo is stifled, potentially costing them the game, but they don't lose those resources and thus don't run out of steam as easily in the long run.

Awful card, can be negated by Solemn Advice....

Anyway, in all seriousness, the card is fine. In relation to the now-heated Lavalval Chain debate, it's technically not good design as it's a big fat NOPE to your opponent for a turn. However, I see it as more of a reward for playing Galaxy Photons, a deck of which I personally love the art and theme of. Clearly Konami aren't planning on releasing more usable Galaxy Eyes monsters and breaking this card in the future, so it isn't too 'unhealthy/degenerate/bad for game' even if it's badly designed.

Overall, I like it and think it's a shame that it along with the other Galaxy support probably won't ever make it to TCG. Even if it's badly designed by Black's definition, I think it's fine and a nice card for any who played the deck anyway*

(* please, someone impress me by showing me how to use this in a non- Photon deck)
^oh no! how can I stop a double post on my phone!!

I like how it gives the protection that some of the Galaxy-Eyes monsters really need, and that it only affects what the opponent activated, so you won't accidentally be forced to bounce your own monsters or cards.

But because it's fairly conditional, in that you must have a Galaxy-Eyes monster out, you often have to choose between having this awesome negation card on-hand, but a suboptimal monster (there are plenty of situations where a non-Galaxy-Eyes Rank 8 is needed, but you go into a Galaxy-Eyes one to ensure this card being live), or having the right option, but a dead card in hand/Set.

Ultimately, I consider this card unneeded in Galaxy Decks, but I still wish the TCG had the OCG Galaxy support (Cloud Dragon, Soldier, this, and Photon Stream).
