Valkyrus
2 Level 2 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this card gains 1000 ATK or DEF. During either player's Battle Step, while an attack involving your monster is occurring: You can discard 1 card; for the rest of this turn, monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle, also you take no battle damage. You can only use this effect of "Armored Kappa" once per Duel. I really like this card. I tend to go for it quite often when doing Venus plays (aside from Herald of Pure Light). Also, it can gain significant ATK/DEF if it survives for a turn. Discuss.
Master Hyperion
Gachi is still a better option as a wall, because Gachi can survive multiple destruction of any kind and also shares the ATK/DEF boost with your other monsters, which is a good opening play in Agents, since it forces your opponent to grind through your Gachi. The problem of Kappa is also that decks that can actually make it can't really benefit from this card's protection effect.
Toffee.
I always found it silly that this card's second effect is Once-Per-Duel. I mean, by default it would become a game of resources for you, on the grounds that you would, basically, have to keep -1ing yourself in order to turn all your monsters into Marshmallons/prevent damage. 'Course, given the fact that, in the right scenario, you could just run Draw -> End Phase -> Sit on this the entire duel, to which, is likely WHY said effect is limited like that in the first place. Yeah, I'm probably being a hipster when using this instead of Gachi but it's still a waboku on legs and can protect all of your monsters. Could be useful to get one more search on your next turn from Herald if you made them at the same time and protected them as well. Also, it can detach a material right away in case you need a fairy in the grave, unlike Gachi. Also, may be better against aggressive decks that don't do a lot of effect destruction. But then again, you do like your fairies in the Grave and protecting Venus isn't something you really need most of the time..
