Effect:

If this card is discarded, you can Set it from the Graveyard to your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Spell Card. Once per turn, during your opponent's Main Phase, when your opponent activates a Monster effect, you can negate the effect and destroy 1 card you control. When this Set card in the Spell & Trap Card Zone is destroyed and sent to your Graveyard: Special Summon it. If this card is Special Summoned during your opponent's turn: you can Special Summon 1 "Harpie" monster from your Deck, except "Harpie's Artifact".

This is actually very good. Less so when it's summoned during the opponent's turn since harpies are so easy to get rid of.
I like how this combo's with hunting ground. The middle effect (the casual monster eff part) seems just random, as if you worried about the card's usability and decided on throwing something extra.
I don't like how this is level 5 though, which completely rules out the infamous chidori plays with this.

And last, I know the pic is not your fault but a harpie holding an artifact is a pretty neat card art idea. This whole concept is neat though, good job!

Keep in mind, hunting ground still activates during your opponent's turn. So summoning a harpy and letting you pop a s/t during your opponent's turn can be deadly, especially considering other Artifacts can be popped and they get their eff during your opponent's turn. Or even more deadly, a Hysteric Sign that activates during your opponent's end phase, letting you use 3 new harpies the very next turn.

The middle eff wasn't random. It's supposed to blow up Artifacts and Hysteric Sign (especially when its set) while also providing pressure on the opponent. Although a single eff negate isn't that powerful, the fact that its optional makes it very deadly. You can play mind games with your opponent, making them decide if they want you to possibly blow up Artifacts or Hysteric Sign by making simple plays.

Being lvl5 is more for the benefit of Artifacts than for Harpies (Plus its not wind so it can't summon chidori). Its mainly for those rank 5s. It's stats are tuned up to cater to artifacts.

Oh, and for the image, yeah, that would've been epic. I might actually try to find something like that

1. Yes, though you wouldn't run artifacts in a harpie deck, their space is quite tight already.  actually I'm gonna try that right now. moralltach + hunting ground sound badass.

2.It is still quite random, you could find a more imaginative way of blowing up artifacts, the eff negation is obviously good but doesn't fit the lore of the card / howeveryou'dcall the mindset here.

3.Running harpies and wanting to rank 5 sounds just bad. I really doubt this would work and I really doubt many artifacts to justify rank 4 in a harpie deck is worth it.

the whole idea of a artifact-harpie hybrid doesn't sound good to me, since harpies really need to be homogeneous to be consistant, or even worth running.

and again, the card pic thing could be sick.

edit: just googled harpie artifacts, never knew about this. going to try now.

edit #2: sounds good on paper, not synchronizing so well.
