ems97
Card of the night is Luxray. Image is from s148.photobucket.com 3 Level 4 LIGHT monsters This card is also treated as a Thunder-Type monster. When this card is Xyz Summoned, your opponent's monsters loses 400 ATK. Once per turn , when a card effect is activated that destroys a card on the field: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the activation, and if you do, this card gains 500 ATK until the end of this turn. Flash Flyer - Sakura
So basically we have a detaching variant of Stardust that gains power when it negates something, and lowers the opponent's ATK (which is most likely Intimidate). That being said though, unlike Stardust, it can't protect your stuff during the opponent's turn; though it's good for stopping Mirror Force or an emergency Exciton your opponent has or something. In terms of the ATK drop, while it does reflect Intimidate, a lot of common monsters won't be bothered much by it (though it does weaken them up a bit for this card or other monsters you have to take them down). Deck-wise, only stuff that comes to mind that can make this are Star Seraphs (Holy Lightning), Hunders (in their Swarm variant) and probably Satellaknights (b/c of Deltatheros). Its stats aren't particularly great for a 3-mat Rank 4, but I suppose the power gain from its negation effect makes up for it; considering monster removal is common.
