Flash Flyer - Sakura
2 or more Level 3 WATER monsters (max. 5) If this card would be destroyed by a monster your opponent controls (either by battle or a card effect): You can detach 1 Xyz Material instead. This card gains 300 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. If this card is targeted for an attack while it has no Xyz Materials: Destroy it. So let me get this straight; it's essentially a 3300 ATK R3 monster that can auto-protect itself twice and has a Utopia clause at end; blows self when under attack and no materials. Yeah, how about no. Even with the Attribute requirement, you seriously need to curb its ATK/DEF as 2700/2400 is definitely too high for a Rank 3 monster. If this were a Rank 6 or something, then it would be acceptable. Right now, 2100-2200 ATK and about 1600-1800/1900 DEF sounds reasonable for a semi-generic Rank 3 (though it's effectively a 2.7k beater with its materials). I'd either lower the ATK boost to 200 or something or just scrap it altogether; former option is probably best. In terms of Decks that can summon it, Mermails are the only thing that really come to mind right now; I don't play them so not really sure how quickly they can spam Level 3s in order to summon this [if they can get Abysstrite or whatever that 3-mat one is named, this one shouldn't be as difficult]. I think there's 1-2 other Decks that can summon this, but can't think of them right now. In other words, tone down this card's power level. Either that, or raise the amount of effort needed to SS it (raising its Rank to 6-7 or something along those lines).
Yemachu
Non-Effect Xyz Monsters typically have no flavor text, which would otherwise be italic (due to the word "Effect" lacking before the closing bracket). But now lets assume this monster is actually an Effect Monster. 2 or more Lvl 3 WATER monsters If this card were to be destroyed by a monster your opponent controls, you can detach 1 Xyz material instead. This card gains 300 ATK for each Xyz material attached to it. If this card is targeted for an attack while it has no Xyz materials; destroy this card. The effect which protects it is not quite clear on which form(s) of destruction can be prevented. Looking at how it is worded, it would most likely be worded the way Sakura Haruno suggested ("If this card would be destroyed by a monster your opponent controls (either by battle or a card effect): You can detach 1 Xyz Material instead.") Though it is not uncommon for effect monsters to protect themselves against destruction nowadays; they often have a downside of either low ATK and DEF, or somewhat hard summoning conditions. The former is certainly not the case; its ATK is the second highest of all Rank 3 monster, only behind "Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction", which only has drawbacks. This card even gains ATK while it has Xyz Materials. So how about its summoning conditions? While restricted, it is not all that hard to summon; but mostly restricted to "Mermail" and "Atlantean" Decks. These Decks tend to Summon a lot of monsters in 1 turn, and are rather aggressive; like this card. You can also try to summon it using "Bahamut Shark"; though you cannot revive it when you do, as well as it having no Xyz Materials. Should you control this card without Xyz Materials, you can use it as Xyz Material for either "Full Armored Black Ray Lancer" or "Downerd Magician". How about looking at some existing cards with either similar Summoning conditions or effects? Here I will list a few: "Black Ray Lancer": Has very similar summoning conditions and can negate the effect of 1 face-up monster (Rank 3 / ATK 2100 / DEF 600); "Hazy Flame Basiltrice": Similar summoning conditions, gains 200 ATK per Xyz Material if it has 3 or more (Rank 6 / ATK 2500 / DEF 1800); "Full Armored Black Ray Lancer"/"Downerd Magician": Gain 200 ATK for each Xyz Material (Rank 4 / ATK 2100 / DEF X00); "Number 39: Utopia": Same destruction effect, can negate attacks (Rank 4 / ATK 2500 / DEF 2000); "Number 101: Silent Honor ARK": Same protection, can get rid of opposing monsters at cost of 2 Xyz Materials (Rank 4 / ATK 2100 / DEF 1000). As you can see, all above cards with similar effect / summoning conditions have rather low ATK, even if their Rank is higher. Also the ATK gain is lower (200 per card, instead of 300). Most of the above is to point out that I think this card is a bit overpowered. My suggestions to fix it: either raise its Rank by 2~4, lower its ATK and DEF by about 600 (as well as the ATK gain), make it a lot harder to summon ("4 or 5 Level 3 WATER monsters; Must be Xyz Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways."), or add some more drawbacks ("You take all battle damage your opponent would have taken from battle involving this card" or something creative). In short: This card is overpowered; lower this card's ATK and DEF, or give it a few (more) drawbacks. I hope you have some usage for my vision/suggestions
