Maeriberii Haan
Ze blurs, meng Merlin DARK Spellcaster-Type / Level 3 / 1400 ATK / 500 DEF You can only use each effect of "Merlin" once per turn. -You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Noble Knight" monster from your Deck. You cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this effect, except "Noble Knight" monsters. -During either player's turn: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 "Noble Knight" Synchro Monster using monsters you control. -During either player's turn: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; immediately after this effect resolves, Xyz Summon 1 "Noble Knight" Xyz Monster using monsters you control. Probably not 100% due to ze blurz, but yeah. Take it with a grain of salt until a full confirmation, just like those NUMH cards. There's your lonefire. goddamnit names are a pain
Awesome. Just what the deck needed. So, not a Spellbook of Judgement for them. A Lonefire, as you said. But he's supposed to make them a leader of men He does no such thing Loving the simple name.
Wildflame
Thanks god it's ONLY a Lonefire. I was expecting something worse. This will move the deck a few tiers up though, good card for them.
goddamnit names are a pain
>Few Tiers up So from Tier 2 to Tier Zero *shot repeatedly* My guess, from this, is that the third new card is going to be dull and not quite needed in the deck. A one of tech, perhaps?
Greiga
My guess, from this, is that the third new card is going to be dull and not quite needed in the deck. A one of tech, perhaps? Literally as Masao posted in his thread. I love how the first effect has a nonexistent restriction, and the quick summon effects are always welcome. has the power to take a Noble Knight from your Deck, >become lonefire and turn him into a leader of men. >become arty

Maeriberii Haan
thankfully this is a spellcaster instead of a Warrior.

玄魔の王
So that rumour about "Noble Knight Myrrdin" appears to have missed the mark somewhat.
Sir Yamiegg
Looking forward to Knights with this. Konami always seems to just not quite get there at making the decks they want to be Tier 1/2 Tier 1/2, (think Bujins, Nobles) with the exception of Dolls/Tellars. I think this could push NKs into the competitive scene a little more.
Slinky
WOO NOBLE KNIGHT LOVE Now only give them a Tuner that's not utter s***. Pls Konami ;w; But lady of the lake isn't utter shit.
CLG Klavier
But lady of the lake isn't utter s***. Maybe not, but it has 3 effects on itself. First is a drawback, 2nd is useless, only 3rd does something.
Miror B
It's a Lonefire, except it can't search itself out to think the deck and doesn't have the 500 attack to abuse with Debris.
Βyakuya
Good news is that Medraut is getting closer to being very versatile, problem is that this guy cannot be searched, not to mention having differing stats that wouldn't make this card too abusive. Nevertheless Noble Knights are indirectly getting better and better, well in terms of a searcher....
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
It seems like they tried hard to avoid it being easily searched or brought from the deck.
Armoire
It seems like they tried hard to avoid it being easily searched or brought from the deck. Yeah, they did... I was really hoping Merlin would become a "Noble Knight" for shenanigans with the Round Table and be searchable via Medraut and Gwalchavad. Other than that, Merlin's really nice as a Lonefire, but it's still going to be hard to get Noble Arms from the deck, if you don't draw any. And as for his quick summon effect, I didn't expect it, but it's nice. It promotes letting you have more knights on the field, too, so that if they're targeted or something, you can use Merlin to Xyz/Synchro them. Ultravires
Noble Knights officially don't care about backrow anymore. This deck shits on BA, Shaddolls, Qliphorts and Tellarknights. So that rumour about "Noble Knight Myrrdin" appears to have missed the mark somewhat. We knew Myrrdin was fake immediately after the blog post about Last Chapter. >Few Tiers up So from Tier 2 to Tier Zero *shot repeatedly* My guess, from this, is that the third new card is going to be dull and not quite needed in the deck. A one of tech, perhaps? Noble Knights are Tier 3 right now. Third card is a one-of, Noble Knight Bedwyr. It recycles cards that have been removed from play. We don't know exactly what it does yet but it's used to fuel plays with Eachtar as well as recycle Merlin and Excaliburn.
