Traptrix Drosera
*4 Plant/Effect Earth 1000/1800
This card is unaffected by the effect of "Trap Hole" Trap Cards. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, add 1 ''Traptrix'' monster from your deck to your hand. You must have a Normal Trap Card in your graveyard to activate this effect. Card effects cannot be activated in response to a Normal Trap Card's activation.

/me shrugs.

Just something I had in mind.

The second effect looks fine because it makes the card more efficient at searching Traptrix monsters than Nepenthes and can pick TTHN, but that first effect seems iffy: it arguably outclasses Dionaea's second effect, and recycling that BTH up to 3 times doesn't feel fair. It is also a different take on Myrmeleo's searching effect, which hurts the card's originality.

Then, the flavor on the ATK/DEF stats is slightly off: The ATK+DEF of all Traptrix monsters so far is 2800.

I suggest to go for something different for the first effect, or turn the "search a Traptrix" into the first effect and come up with something else for the second effect. For the stats, you could go for 1750 ATK/1050 DEF so Drosera will remain as somewhat of a beater; otherwise you would have to go for 1500/1300 to avoid XX50 stats and giving it the same stats as an existing Traptrix monster.

It looks better now. It is basically some sort of Nepenthes + Atrax hybrid that is actually playable. I don't think the restriction of having a Normal trap in the grave is even necessary: it prevents you from using this effect on turns 1~2, but in theory it will be live anytime after that anyways.

However, turning your Normal Traps into Spell Speed 4s is questionable, but with 1000/1800 stats Drosera shouldn't last long on the field. Still, I'm not sure if the effect is fair, so just to be safe I would go for Atrax's effect of turning your Normal Traps, if not only "Trap Hole" Traps, immune to negation.
