Glow-Up Bulb

Recommended Posts

First thing I thought actually was Dragon Ruler Plants. So pretty much bigger advances into that Stardust or probably even Azure?

Glow-Up Bulb definitely has its versatility as Burning Abyss are getting a Synchro, and sooner or later, New Challengers, including Shekinaga will come along, and that will definitely provoke a lot of shenaniganery.

I'm ok with this change in all honestly, but that's probably because I was never really around playing yugioh when Glow Up Bulb was allowed. At face value it doesn't look like terrible design to me but then I guess im missing something...at least it has a hard OPD restriction.

Dedicated synchro decks aren't really too hot at the moment anyways.

If memory serves, Plant Synchro used it for free advantage. That was the Deck that run Lonefire Blossom, Spore, and Reborn Tengu @3. Tengu and Bulb were evil.

And considering how many Decks like stuff in the Graveyard, the mill was usually more beneficial than anything.

Well at least Tengu/Lonefire isn't at 3 now so that's something. Although Lonefire seems like a much more poorly designed card than Glow up Bulb, since it toolboxes the entire deck, including itself for deck thinning.

Using Glow-up in Shaddolls is risky as well, it won't set off the Shaddoll effects since the mill is a cost (but since when has that ever been a legit argument?!?!).

But is well worth it for easier access to Star Eater and Mr. Leo.

Most important part being.. EARTH

Shekhinaga for days

It's a better tuner than Lady of the lake overall, and they run foolish iirc.

not to mention usually the tuners are normal summoned first anyway.

For a second I thought you were talking about Lady of the Burning Lake and I got really confused.

As for more Quasar decks, I don't see those anymore.
