ems97
Lucario's effect is force palm, and the second effect well.. I gave it that smash bros effect since Lucario's aura grows stronger every time it gets hit. Image is from fanpop.com 2 Level 5 monsters Once per turn, when this card destroys a monster on the field: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; target 1 monster on the field, and if you do, that target cannot attack for the next 2 turns. When you take damage from an opponent's card effect: This card gains ATK equal to the damage you took.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
And the irony is that I used the exact same picture for making my normal Lucario a couple months ago (though it's perfectly acceptable for 2 or more members to use same pic for a character). On more realistic notes, Lucario doesn't exactly run Force Palm (unless in its earlier stages before learning the stronger moves) but being able to paralyze stuff is nice. However, opponent can just use affected monster to Fusion/Synchro/Xyz or whatever. A suggestion would be to lock its usage in Extra Deck summoning as well, but then you'd need to reduce the duration of its effect to one turn; the ED block is more than enough to compensate for losing a turn of attack sealing. As for the second effect, gaining ATK after taking burn is nice but outside of Chain Burn or whatever Decks inflict it, I don't really see it triggering often. Summon-wise, it's easily accessible by any Deck that can spam Level 5s out without problems, so that helps its cause (25/21 stats aren't bad on it). lucky777dice
Dude, nice work as always! I really like the effect that allows you to convert eff dmg into atk points. It's a really creative approach. P.S. For Sakura, are we trying to be accurate to the Pokemon series or TCG when making these cards? I feel like I might be correcting you guys on the wrong stuff if you're trying to emulate Pokemon over be accurate to the TCG. No hard feelings or anything like that, just want to know for future submissions.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
The idea is that you try your best to design cards based on the character's abilities, BUT make sure they don't turn out as broken. We know some of the legendary Pokémon have great abilities that work well in the game, but when transferred into Yugioh terminology, they either come off as something worse than the ban list or just doesn't factor properly. You don't have to design cards using RC logic, but it's recommended that a member have good design in their work.
