[Post 1v1] Burstout Wyrm

I thought that this cad was decent enough as it was, it doesn't have a lot of Decks it can be used in, yeah, but it's not like every card needs to always to I feel. Anyway, ideas on how to make it better would be appreciated.

2 Level 4 monsters
If you control no other monsters: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; it loses ATK equal to the DEF of the Xyz Material detached to activate this effect, also if the detached Xyz Material was a FIRE or Wyrm-Type monster, this card cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Burstout Wyrm" once per turn.

To be fair, even though I voted against it for the sake of being objective on which follows their purpose better, I confess that I liked this card better. I like cards that can be random techs and don't need to really produce advantage. Especially when it can make combos off potentially random cards, like, you could take down a 4k monsters with any 2000 vanilla being thrown out.

I think what probably hurt it the most was that despite it being potentially handy to take down bosses, it has issues that make it less than optimal.

You need to control no other monsters, which I'd understand if it increased its own ATK instead of weakening its opponent, but its always gonna be a 2400 beater by itself, making the clause not all that needed IMO.

Also, since that effect lasts the turn only, you'll be left with a protection that no longer exists by the time your opponent wants to run it over.

There is also how it doesn't matter how creative you want to get with combos that'd produce a high DEF material, the limit is what your opponent has in front. I'd have fun with random plays if it payed off the effort of, let's say, Reducing Millennium Shield's Level with Level Eater to make it a Material after Debris Dragon revived it. I know the combo is bad, but just talking about potential incentives however small they might be.

Lastly, cards that prevent targeting. Its function is that of a beater, but there are some cards that can't be beaten by it due to this. I know the card is not actually used much if at all in lots of builds, but for a moment I couldn't help myself into thinking how it can't be a tech against Killer.

Overall it is probably alright casual material. Can't say I know of an ideal place for it, but it's a fun toy, I can't negate that.
