When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can add 1 Level 4 or lower DARK Fiend-Type monster from your Graveyard to your hand; send 1 DARK Fiend-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. If you activated this effect, you cannot Special Summon for the rest of this turn.
 
Thought it would be cool if Dark World had a boss that grapha could be used to get out.
 
Grapha + Fabled Raven = this
destroys monster by battle...discard beige or gold...anything that will ss itself
attack again and/or bounce for grapha

Ok, so you're going to need to Normal Summon Raven while already having a Dark World out. Because it's Level 10, Raven can't even activate its effect, or else you'll have to use Lucient, which is pretty bad. There aren't really any other Tuners that Dark Worlds work with as well as Raven (except maybe Glow-Up), and even then, Raven has become suboptimal with the rise of Xyzs.

 

Then there is the effect. When against a non-Fiend, its 28 body rises to a grand total of 3000 ATK. If it destroys a monster, you can ditch a card, which is a minus specifically designed to trigger Dark Worlds. Dark Worlds usually don't have any trouble discarding their monsters, especially with their Field Spell, so it's not like this card's discard effect is difficult to pull off without this card. You have the Field Spell, Dealings, Dragged Down, and a few others. Compare this to the other Level 10 Synchro that a Level 2 Raven + Grapha could make: Leo, the something whatever of the Tree or something. Leo is a 3100 beater that cannot be targeted by card effects, except during your Main Phase 2. Being untargetable in this game is still a very good form of protection since it makes it really hard to even use a card effect against it.

 

The ATK-boosting effect doesn't really make any sense to me as to why it exists. In most cases it would have 3000 when it battles and 2800 is weak for a Level 10 Synchro anyway. It can't even be used as a explosive barrel-like drawback because its effect can't be negated while in Attack Position. As for the other effect, since Dark Worlds can discard quite often (and would usually have to in order to Summon this), I think that it needs to reward the player in a way other than triggering effects that could already be triggered easily.

lightning, dealings or gates to get beige out with raven, then bounce for grapha and sync 10...that was the idea. The 200 boost is to make this a 3k boss without gates and a star eater killer with gates. The reward to a player for getting this out is that its a beatstick that cant be negated in attack position, which means 1 garaunteed discard per turn if the atk isnt stopped. However, if you really feel this wouldn't see any playtime, I am definitely open to suggestions.

As A Bloo said, this card's discard effect is quite unnecessary and even with "Gates to the Darkworld" in play you have a 3300 ATK monster, if the conditions are right. there are other things i would choose to synchro over this I am afraid.

 

one suggestion would be removing the raise attack effect and just bump up its original ATK to 3000. Another thing I would suggest is ditching is the discard effect for the reason I mentioned easrlier. Maybe have an effect that returns DW monsters back to the grave but they cannot be discarded the turn the effect is activated.

What about this. I think a lot of decks would run this more...generic version
